Bailey enjoying a post treatment snooze 😴

Baileys an older gentleman with a little bit of a weak hind end! We do a head-to-tail treatment including adjustments and soft tissue release to help with any aches and pains and then we finish off our sessions with some strengthening exercises including the infamous ‘wobble towel’ 😅

✨Kinesiology dry cupping ✨

- The suction cups help to gently release deep muscle tension and loosen the connective fascia which in turn reduces stiffness and pain.

- By drawing fresh blood to the surface, cupping increases oxygen and nutrient delivery to the targeted muscles which helps speed up the body’s natural healing process.

- This technique can also help to break down scar tissue and adhesions improving the elasticity of a muscle.

My own horse, Talli, is out of work at the moment while he recovers from dental surgery.

I’m a bit rubbish at practicing what I preach as I give you all rehab exercises to complete with your ponies but I’m a real slacker at doing them regularly with my boy!

So this morning we spent 30 mins just running through some forelimb and hindlimb stretches, neck stretches, poll release, longissimus massage, sacral mobilisations and core activation 💪🏼As you can see he really enjoyed the session and had some great tension releases 🥱 He should be coming back into work this week after about 6 weeks off but thanks to these exercises he should still be feeling fit and strong 😄

Happy weekend 🥳

Had a busy week playing catch up after my holiday but feeling incredibly blessed that I get to see so many lovely humans, horses and dogs to ease the holiday blues 🥰

I’m currently booking about 2 weeks ahead for evening appointments in ‘human’ clinic as they’re proving very popular!

Next availability for mobile horses and dogs is 23rd October🐴 lots of availability next week though for dogs, providing you can bring them to my clinic in Ventnor 🐶

We had everything from general maintenance, new horse checks, hip and stifle stiffness and pre-HOYS treatment - it’s been a busy but great day 🫶🏼 Same again tomorrow! 😅
