Bray & Son, owned and run by the Bray family, provide a personal, dignified service, guiding you through all the necessary arrangements, to ensure all your wishes are carried out. We believe we offer the most complete service in our area, from helping you plan your own funeral and set up a fully guaranteed funeral plan, right through to offering a free Bereavement Support Group. We offer a full range of funerals, from simple cremations, (often referred to as Direct Cremations, which are low cost funerals, with no mourners attending) through to a complete funeral service, with many different options in between, all carried out at the highest standards. Through our membership of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) we can assist your family in the event of your loved one passing away, either anywhere in the UK, or even further afield. As members of both NAFD and SAIF, we can ensure you receive the standards you expect and deserve. We follow the profession's leading Code of Practice, and we are regularly inspected. As well as holding the diploma in funeral directing, David Bray is also a member of the British Institute of Funeral Directors.

Sadly passed away on 18th December 2025 at Treliske Hospital, Ange, aged 75 years of Fraddon. Much loved mum of Louise, Darren and Susie, loving granny of Connor, Nikita, Aaron, Lakisha and Declan, loving great granny of Roux and a dear sister of Tony (deceased), Mavis, Gill and Cince.
Funeral service at the Bray Funeral Home on Tuesday 13th January at 2.00 pm followed by a private family interment. The family invite you to wear a splash of red.

We feel so touched by all of the lovely comments on the page and are so grateful to the people who came to mum’s funeral, sent cards, gave us hugs and for the kind donations to Marie Curie. To the people who surrounded mum with friendship and care and helped her live her long life to the full, and finally to Bray’s Funeral Home for helping to steer us through the most difficult of times.
