📣 Stand Up for Your Right to Traditional Wellness Foods 🍄

Right now, a Change.org petition is calling on the European Commission and Parliament to reform the EU Novel Foods Regulation because it restricts access to traditional adaptogenic mushrooms like turkey tail and cordyceps — even though they’ve been safely consumed in Asia for centuries.

Under current rules, foods not widely eaten in the EU before 15 May 1997 are classed as “novel foods” and need expensive, lengthy approval before they can be sold — ignoring global history of safe use.

This petition is about fairness, cultural inclusivity, and consumer choice in natural wellness — so EU citizens can choose plant-based, traditional foods without unnecessary barriers.
