How are you really doing today?

Sometimes we rush through the week without pausing to notice what we need. Taking a moment to check in with yourself can make a big difference.

💭 Ask yourself:
- Have I had enough rest?
- Do I need connection or quiet?
- What’s one small thing I can do today to support myself?

Remember, self-care doesn’t have to be big or fancy. It can be a cup of tea in peace, stepping outside for fresh air, or simply saying “no” to something that drains you.

Boundaries are not walls, they are bridges to healthier relationships. So often, we’re taught that saying no makes us “difficult” or “uncaring.” The truth is, boundaries are acts of self-respect and self-care. They protect our energy, our time, and our wellbeing, while also creating clearer, kinder connections with others.

✨ Boundaries sound like:
“I need some time to recharge, I’ll call you back tomorrow.”
“I can’t take this on right now.”
“That doesn’t feel okay for me.”

💡 When we set boundaries, we’re not pushing people away. We’re showing them how we can safely connect with them.

Healthy boundaries make space for deeper trust, honesty, and compassion, in our relationships with others and with ourselves.

Update on Our Lovely Kate 💛

We’re so pleased to share that Kate is healing well and continuing to make steady progress. She’s scheduled for her skin graft on Wednesday and is now more mobile, relearning to walk on her leg again with courage and determination.

Let’s all continue to send her love and strength as she takes these next big steps in her recovery. We’re so proud of you, Kate! 💛

💛 A Message From the Tide Counselling Team 💛

We wanted to let you know that our lovely therapist, Kate, was recently involved in a serious car accident. We’re incredibly grateful to share that she is okay and in good spirits. However, she did sustain a nasty leg injury and will be taking some time to rest and recover fully.

Kate’s wellbeing is our top priority, and we know many of you will join us in sending her love, strength, and patience as she heals.

If you are currently working with Kate or waiting for an appointment, we will be in touch with you directly to discuss options and support in the meantime.
