In midlife it's easy to rush past the good bits! Or worry about when they'll end. 💚

But maybe these are the times to just let them be. 😊

This is Flowering -meant to be enjoyed in the moment - and then let go. 🌸

In midlife some kinds of strength aren't loud and in your face. 😉

They might even be invisible and unacknowledged by those around us, but they hold everything in place. 💚

This is where Branching begins. 🌳🙂

In midlife there's a quiet kind of change that doesn't shout.🌿

I just begins, nice and slow, without having to prove anything to anyone.

This is the beginning of Unfurling. 💚🙂

As women in midlife, we're used to trying to fix things quickly. To work things out, to keep people moving forward. 🙃

But hang on - sometimes what we actually need is so much smaller than any of that. 💚

Just a quiet moment.
Not to think - we do more than enough of that already! 😉

Just to be.

This is the beginning of Sprouting. 🌱

I didn't set out to create a framework - I was just noticing patterns. 🌿😊

Those quiet moments in midlife, alongwith the heavy, overwhelming ones and the optimistic, joyful ones too.

And how we seem to move between them, not once in a straight line but in and out in a kind of rhythm.

I've started to think of them as inner seasons. Not something to fix or control, just to notice.

And maybe to help us be a little kinder to ourselves. 🌿💚

I've been thinking a lot about support, not the obvious kind, but the quiet, often unseen kind.🪴💚

The kind that's put in place early, holds everything steady and then disappears from view.

I think a lot of us in midlife become just like that.

Reliable. Capable. The one who keeps things going. 😊

And we do it so well - it's almost expected.

But nature doesn't grow in just one way.

Some things stand firm.
Some bend.
Some lean.
Some interwine and grow through something else entirely.

I'm starting to realise that strength doesn't have to look like holding everything up.🌿🥰

Five signs your inner season might be "Ripening!" 🍒😀
Even in Spring, something is ripening...

While everything around us is beginning again - buds opening, light returning, sap rising - there's also something quieter happening, underneath it all.

Because nothing begins without something have become before it.💚

Ripening isn't always visible.

We slowly gather experience, the meaning settles into place with a quiet sense of - this matters.

And we can move through this season at any time of year and more than once!

Here are a few signs your inner season might be Ripening.

🍒 A deeper sense of perspective.
Things that once felt urgent don't quite hold the same weight.
There's a little more space between you and the reaction.

🍒 Reflecting rather than rushing.
You might find yourself looking back - not to dwell on stuff but to understand things.
Joining the dots.
Making meaning from what's been.

🍒 Gratitude and grief sit side by side.
An appreciation for what you've had, and an awareness of what's been lost or is changing.
Both can be true at the same time.

🍒 Letting go feels easier, less forced.
Not a dramatic ending, just a gentle sense that something has run its course.

🍒 A feeling of "enoughness".
Not everything needs to be chased or achieved, some things are already complete.
Already part of you.

Ripening doesn't ask you to become something new.

It asks you to recognise what already is.

To honour it.
To hold it.
And, when the time comes, to let it go.

Because without ripening....
there would be nothing to return to the soil.

And without that....
nothing new could begin. 💚😊
