💙 Endometriosis Awareness Month 💙
March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness of a condition that affects 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth.
Endometriosis can cause chronic pain, fatigue, and have a significant impact on daily life ,yet it is often overlooked or misunderstood. Many people wait years for a diagnosis, with symptoms sometimes dismissed or mistaken for other conditions.
Raising awareness is vital to help people feel heard, understood, and supported, and to encourage earlier diagnosis and access to care.
At Caremark Wakefield, we understand how important it is to listen, take concerns seriously, and provide compassionate, person-centred support for those living with long-term health conditions.
