This , Amelia would like to say: “I now have 3 children and my second labour left me with trauma I never thought I’d get over, however, way before I laboured my third baby on 11 January 2026, Amy Kirk went through absolutely everything in detail and assured me that this time round would be different. She wasn’t wrong, and I could not be more thankful to have met this woman.

"We cannot thank everybody that was involved in our care on labour ward that day enough, along with Katie on induction the night before. We are so grateful for every single one of you super heroes, and to those who came in to see us after Parker had arrived knowing we’d really been through it for 24 full hours.

"Our baby is named after our midwife, Maria, for her care, compassion, and just general love. It takes an extraordinary human to look after another the way she did with me all day.

"Thank you all so much. Please know us women appreciate everything you midwives continue to do for us in our times of need."

This , Lucey would like to say: “I’d like to thank Emma, an incredibly passionate, patient midwife who brought our baby Hunter into the world on 25 January via a very long-awaited C section. She captured the entire experience for us, honoured our preferences and helped speed up the process. Every step of the way I felt nothing but her genuine care and support.

"There are no words to express my gratitude for her and her fantastic swaddling skills which I haven’t managed to recreate! She even came up to the labour ward to say goodbye. If only there were more Emma’s in the world! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you."

This , Abby would like to say: “I cannot thank Amy Brown enough for helping me have such an incredible birth experience, I was so happy she was my midwife from the beginning to the end of the labour. She was so calming, loving and really made me and my birthing partners feel at ease through the whole process. Amy will hold a special place in my heart forever! ❤️

"I would also like to mention Trish and Nisha from the day unit who were also amazing on the run up to my birth. I felt so stressed with it being Christmas week and being away from my other two children and they just took my worries away by being so kind and helpful - without even knowing they were doing so!"
