This , Abby would like to say: “I cannot thank Amy Brown enough for helping me have such an incredible birth experience, I was so happy she was my midwife from the beginning to the end of the labour. She was so calming, loving and really made me and my birthing partners feel at ease through the whole process. Amy will hold a special place in my heart forever! ❤️

"I would also like to mention Trish and Nisha from the day unit who were also amazing on the run up to my birth. I felt so stressed with it being Christmas week and being away from my other two children and they just took my worries away by being so kind and helpful - without even knowing they were doing so!"

📽 The regional video below gives more information about reduced fetal movements. Please note: the video refers to a ‘Maternity Assessment Centre’ but at our Trust, this service is called Maternity Triage.

Did you know that the way a baby sleeps can make a huge difference in keeping them safe?

It’s Safer Sleep Week and we’re helping parents and carers to learn the facts about safe sleep and how to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Test your knowledge with some true or false statements ✅❌

👉 Is it safe for babies to sleep on their side?
👉 Should a baby’s sleep space be clear of toys and loose bedding?
👉 Can sleeping in the same bed as your baby increase the risk of SIDS?

Get the answers and learn how to create a safer sleep environment for your little one. 💙

💙 Our Infant Feeding Team is here to support you during pregnancy if you have any circumstances that may make feeding more challenging once baby arrives.

We offer specialist advice, personalised feeding plans and appointment options (phone, virtual or in person) to help you feel confident and prepared.

If this applies to you, your midwife or maternity team can refer you to the At Risk Feeding Clinic for specialist help.

Our goal is to make sure every family receives the support they need for the feeding journey that feels right for them.

If you have questions, please speak to your midwife or care team - we’re here to help.

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us, and to our event partners Healthwatch and Happy MOMents for their support.

This , Justine would like to say: “A big thank you to the team for the safe delivery of my baby girl, Athena Olive, on 3rd August 2025.

"The whole experience from start to finish was what I would describe as a beautiful and magical experience, and this was all down to the calm manner of the amazing maternity team. Again, a huge thank you to you all."
