Imbolc blessings: today marks the end of winter, of lengthening days & the start of new life.

I spent my day enjoying the glorious weather, tidying my strawberry beds, weeding other areas to welcome new seeds soon. Spotting the cheeky pink shoots of rhubarb poking their crowns through the soil! And finally getting round to re-wareproofing my boots (I've only meant to do this since October πŸ™ˆ)!

Grateful for being able to be outside without a million layers or having cold fingers or toes! πŸ™‚πŸŒ³

Spot of creating this afternoon; finishing a tea light holder I started in an outdoor session 2 weeks ago & a "vase" for a solitary flower I made on Monday. As well as a bit of stone engraving to test the best tools for the job!

One thing I want to do this year is to make more time for creating/crafting as I've always loved this, but lost touch with it a bit. Even a few minutes here &there feels awesome, getting into flow & thinking differently πŸ™‚πŸŒ³

You are invited to listen, to share, or simply to be. There will be a creative activity to invite expression in your way.

This is a trauma-aware, gently held space guided by qualified facilitators.

Branching Out Business Netwalking is back for 2026!

Same time, same format, different day! It's now the last wednesday of the month!

If you aren't sure what to expect: we will have some structured activities and prompts to help you relax into the space and not worry about gate crashing and awkward conversation starters. There will be a chance to chat to everyone, or certainly most people, with regular prompts to switch things up. You will be able to be yourself and sensory activities will encourage you to unleash your creative brain, to enable you to return to work refreshed and revitalised, not overwhelmed and in need of a lie down! 😊 🌳

next one: 28th Jan 10-12 newmillerdam
Spaces are limited to 20 and booking is essential to secure your place.

Common Ground
A supportive outdoor group for people navigating absence, transition, or return to work

This year is about community building and i will be introducing Common ground:
This 2-hour, facilitated outdoor session offers a gentle, is a structured space for individuals who are currently out of work, returning after a period of sickness or burnout, or re-orienting themselves following change.

Held in a private garden therapy space and surrounding community, the group focuses on connection, confidence, and relational wellbeing, supporting people to feel met where they are, rather than pushed to perform.

This is not therapy and not employability training.
It is a bridging space: somewhere people can land, reconnect with others, and rebuild rhythm and capacity in a way that feels safe and dignified.

Other groups to support you take charge of you wellbeing, include:
Finding relief from anxiety
Burnout recovery
Sleep
Talking circles
Working with the seasons

Creative and practical groups, such as:
Natural bath salts
Creative journaling
Vision boarding
Hapa Zome
Making sustainable personal care & home products
Foraging
Gardening activities
