Norma of Stanley, passed away peacefully on 16th March. Beloved wife to the late Percy, mum, grandma, great grandma, great great grandma and a dear friend to many.
The service to celebrate Norma’s life will take place on Tuesday 7th April, at Arthur Bell Private Chapel of Rest, 1.30pm followed by a burial in Stanley Cemetery. All are welcome at the Wheatsheaf pub after the service.

Alan passed away on Sunday 1st March at home with his wife and family around him, aged 78. Alan was a beloved and cherished Husband, Son, Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad who will be sadly missed.

All are welcome to attend a funeral service and celebration of his life at Wakefield Crematorium on Friday 20th March at 13:20.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Sarcoma UK, a donation box will be provided at the service.

Joe passed away on February 11th in Wakefield Hospice, aged 98 years. Of Stanley the beloved husband of Ruth and a loving dad, grandad and great grandad. A service to celebrate Joe’s life will take place on Tuesday 10th March, 11.45am at the private chapel of rest of Arthur Bell Funeral Directors, followed by interment in Stanley cemetery. Donations in memory of Joe in lieu of flowers would be gratefully received for Wakefield Hospice, a collection box will be at the service.

Carol, of Thorpe, passed away on the 30th January, aged 80 years. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. A service to celebrate Carol’s life will be taking place on the 27th February, 1.30pm at Lofthouse Church, followed by cremation at Cottingley Hall Crematorium. Donations in memory of Carol would be gratefully received for Cancer Research UK; a collection box will be at the service.
