For a lot of athletes and active people, rest can feel uncomfortable.
You're used to pushing harder, doing more, squeezing in one more session, one more rep, one more mile.
But the truth is, the body doesn't grow stronger during work - it grows during recovery.
Rest isn't weakness.
Rest isn't falling behind.
Rest is where the body repairs tissue, rebuilds strength, and resets the nervous system.
When you're dealing with an injury or ni**le, learning to rest can be one of the hardest parts of the process. It requires patience, trust, and udnestanding that stepping back now is what allows you to move forward later.
Reccovery, rehab, mobility work, treatment, proper sleep - it's all part of the same journey as trainining.
The goal isn't to get back quickly. It's to come back stronger, more resilient, and ready for the long run.
