This moment represents confidence, teamwork and stepping into something new.

Through their time with the Nostell Rangers, Ian and Michael have taken on new challenges, built strong routines and found real pride in the work they do together. What started as a step outside their comfort zones has grown into something they’re genuinely proud of.

Being recognised at the Love Where You Live Awards is a reminder that these everyday efforts matter, and that growth often comes from simply giving something a go.

Sensory needs look different for everyone 🤝🏼

For some people, busy environments, loud noises or unexpected changes can feel overwhelming. That’s why quiet spaces, familiar routines and having real choice matter so much. They help people feel safe, regulated and in control of their environment.

One of our Supported Living services has recently decorated and created a brand-new sensory room - complete with a TV, sofa, rug, lamps and sensory tools. The space was designed and created by the people we support, alongside our teams, to reflect what helps them feel calm and comfortable.

By listening and adapting support, we create environments where people can be themselves and build confidence at their own pace.

It’s not about doing more - it’s about doing what’s right for the individual 🩵
