I don’t normally comment on current affairs but this is important for two reasons: 1- to oppose misguided, inappropriate character assassination & 2- raise an important issue currently affecting society! Please listen!
It was a post encouraged by a family in a session yesterday who shared their brilliant experience when the whole family met John and the time he took to talk to each child, parent & grandparent!
We need to show more consideration towards individuals with additional needs! There needs to be better education and compassion across society!
Hopefully this week has educated a lot of people about Tourette’s Syndrome and how tics can manifest in different ways across different situations.
Next week is the start of Cerebral Palsy awareness month so there’s opportunity to share experiences so that more people can learn about that too! The awareness days/months throughout the year are great opportunities for people to learn about different conditions that affect individuals and families in our community, so they can show more compassion and consideration towards others! Society will be better for it!!
