5 habits to avoid for a healthier heart ❤️
Looking after your heart is one of the biggest gifts you can give yourself. These are the habits I see most often that quietly put your heart under stress. Small changes really do go a long way.
1. Don’t ignore high blood pressure.
It is silent and often has no symptoms. Regular checks matter and early action makes a huge difference.
2. Don’t rely on ultra processed food.
They taste good in the moment but they inflame your body, increase your risk and leave you with low energy. Whole foods will always love you back.
3. Don’t skip movement.
You do not need to smash a workout every day but staying sedentary is one of the biggest risks. Even a daily walk supports heart health.
4. Don’t let stress build up.
Chronic stress raises inflammation blood pressure and cravings. Find something daily that lets your shoulders drop and your breathing slow.
5. Don’t underestimate sleep.
Poor sleep increases your risk more than people realise. Protecting your bedtime is one of the simplest forms of self care.
