💫 Change can feel wild, uncertain, even uncomfortable — like wandering through an untamed forest, unsure where the path will lead.

💫But when we turn inward with awareness, the landscape begins to soften. The forest opens into light, the air clears, and the wildness gives way to calm — to the infinite ocean of peace that’s always waiting within us.

🫶This week’s “The Pause: Evening Yoga Retreat” is a two-hour sanctuary to explore that journey of change.

Soothing Yin Yoga to release and ground the body, combined with Sound Healing to calm the mind, and finish with a deeply restful Yoga Nidra — From Wilderness to Ocean: A Journey Through Change.

💫Through the yogic principle of Svādhyāya (self-study), we’ll explore how our inner world shapes the outer one, and how awareness itself is transformation.

This is a practice of deep rest and release — a space to soften the edges of doing and return to simply being.

You’ll rest into long, supported Yin postures while gentle sound vibrations flow through the room, calming the nervous system and quieting the mind.

The evening will close with a guided Yoga Nidra — a journey into contentment and presence, inspired by the yogic principle of Santosha.

About me

A Yoga Teacher with a PhD in Metaphysical Science, Certified Holistic Life Coach & Spiritual Counsellor and Wellness Retreat Organiser, with over 500 hours of Yoga Alliance teacher training in India and Ibiza; including hatha, ashtanga, vinyasa, yin, yin yang and aerial yoga.

Being diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome 14 years ago, then PTSD, along with depression and anxiety left me unable to function leading me down the holistic route to get my health and ultimately, my life back; fuelling my passion for health and wellbeing, not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. Yin yoga was the missing piece of the jigsaw, due to its powerful healing benefits.

All this training and studying over the last few years has been my therapy and truly life changing, beyond belief! So I now want to share what has helped me so that I can help others and also educate people on stress management and the devastating effects it can have long term. By incorporating practical brain science and ancient wisdom, this integrated holistic approach has resulted in a substantial improvement to overall wellbeing and emotional balance, on a personal level and also with others, creating the much needed equilibrium for a quality life.

We cannot have a healthy body without a healthy mind. That is a scientific fact.
