15 members of the North Tyneside Mental Health Alliance have successfully completed a 2-day Mental Health First Aider training course, delivered by Emm Charlton from Tyneside and Northumberland Mind.

The Mental Health Alliance runs monthly training sessions for its member organisations, helping teams feel confident to support mental health in the workplace and the community.

Important message to clients. I had a letter from the DVLA informing me that because my failing eyesight is not to a safe standard I cannot drive. This is going to have devastating impact on what training I can do especially first aid training. Carrying a load of kit on public transport is going to be difficult. For those with courses booked I’ll be in touch. Sorry folks the price of getting older
