THE STRONGHOLD
A FREE 6-week mental wellbeing course for men

The Stronghold is a free 6-week wellbeing course for men, designed to support personal growth, self-compassion, discipline, and purpose.

This course has been in development for some time, and we’re excited to begin an important conversation, one grounded in practical tools, real connection, and honest discussion.

What do broccoli, parsley, penstemons, and chives have in common? They’re all part of the next chapter in our Garden Club story!

We’re planning ahead with a rich variety of herbs, veggies, and flowers carefully selected, displayed, and soon to be sown by the community. Every seed taking steps towards self-reliance, creativity, and a deeper connection to the earth and each other.

Hands in the soil, hearts full of purpose.
Community, friends, and new faces came together for our first Planting Day. Young gardeners and seasoned green thumbs alike worked side by side prepping beds, sowing seeds and planting winter flowers.

This garden is becoming a living, breathing space for connection and for the little ones, a place to learn where food and beauty come from.

Thank you to everyone who showed up with energy, smiles, and muddy boots!

Ideas became action!
We rolled up our sleeves and began transforming our garden space, starting with a splash of bold yellow and community teamwork.

From indoors to outdoors, everyone pitched in painting planters, prepping spaces, and bringing vibrant life to old structures. These colours bring a splash of life and joy to the grey sky's of winter.

This garden isn’t just about the plants we sow. It’s about ownership for the community at hand.

Welcome to the MindKind Garden Club!
We kicked things off indoors with community members of all ages brainstorming ideas for what our garden could become from winter herbs and vegetables to creative group activities.

Laughter over tea to passionate planning and sketching ideas on the board, this was a meeting that seeded heart into the club.

Together, we imagined a green space full of sage, thyme, kale, garlic, and colour, a place to grow food and friendships along the way.

International Men’s Day

Today’s not just a day on the calendar it’s a reminder that men’s mental health matters.

We’re proud to be founding members of the Men’s Wellbeing Alliance (MWA) a new partnership here in Walsall that’s all about supporting men through real connection, local support, and honest conversations.

Whether it’s through groups, activities, or just having someone to talk to, we’re building something that helps men feel seen, supported, and strong together.

We’re in this with you and for you. Because men’s mental health matters not just today, but every day.

Breast Awareness at the Women’s Wellbeing Culture Club

At WWCC this week, we created a safe space to talk openly and learn about breast awareness, in a way that truly connected with our women.

The session was delivered in familiar languages, using practical tools and clear resources, so everyone could take away not just information, but confidence.

We know that early awareness can save lives. And by making these conversations accessible and inclusive, we’re helping build healthier futures, one woman at a time.

Thanks to NHS Palliative Care for joining us and contributing to a valuable session at our Women’s Wellbeing Culture Club.

On World Mental Health Day 2025,
we’re reminded that connection isn’t optional, it’s essential for our wellbeing.

In times of crisis, the difference between isolation and support can change everything. Access to mental health services, the care of loved ones, and sometimes even a stranger’s helping hand, especially during disasters, emergencies, or times of upheaval, can make that vital difference.

Here’s what we can do together:
• Reach out, your small message might mean the world.
• Listen without judgment.
• Create space for someone else’s story.
• Advocate for accessible care in your communities.

Let’s become the change we wish to see in our community.
Together, even the smallest choices can help us heal, grow, and stay connected.
