This is one of the most common combinations I treat.

Stiff during the week.

It’s rarely about “not stretching enough”.

Sitting changes joint positioning and muscle tension over time. Then heavy training loads those same patterns repeatedly.

That’s why hips feel blocked.
Shoulders feel constantly tight.
Lower back stiffness becomes “normal”.

A lot of people I see aren’t actually limited because they’re “tight” —
they’re limited because they’re guarding.

Guarding happens when your body doesn’t feel safe to let go yet.
So you stretch…
you massage…
you rest…
and it might feel better for a bit — but it doesn’t last.

That’s because the problem isn’t flexibility.
It’s protection.

Until the underlying issue is properly understood and addressed,
your body will keep holding on — no matter how much you stretch it.

Real progress starts when we stop forcing change
and start working out why the body is holding on in the first place.

Why do you get tennis elbow?

Tennis elbow isn’t from tennis.
It comes from too much gripping.

Deadlifts, pull-ups, rows, kettlebells, bars — all load the forearm tendons over and over.
Eventually, the tendon gets irritated and painful.

Rolling the forearm with a body tempering bar helps by:
• Increasing blood flow
• Reducing pain sensitivity
• Loosening tight forearm muscles
• Making gripping feel better again

Roll slowly across the forearm.
Mild discomfort is okay — sharp pain is not.

Healthy forearms = pain-free training.
