🎆Bonfire night to many means fireworks etc….

To us, its 2 days before our annual visit to Holbeche house. Robert Catesby and others involved in the gunpowder plot had hatched a plan to make a stand at the house. Knowing they were outnumbered, 8 against almost 200 of the kings troops, they decided to stand, fight and die.
The ghost of Gideon Grove is said to appear on this day after he fled the assault of the house. He had nothing to do with the plot. He worked at the house before their arrival. In a panic he fled into Himley woods and was shot down with a musket ball to the throat.👻

His ghost has been seen numerous times, him riding a horse along the A449.

Every year we go, hoping to see something.

- at The house that cries in Wolverhampton for a very special evening!

An intimate immersive experience featuring one hour of tarot reading in the parlour, along with a traditional Victorian seance in the infamous red room,finally ending the evening with a full paranormal investigation of the building.

(Please note:

This event will have NO technology/ apps or paranormal equipment during its duration.We are keeping the evening as historically correct as we can and making it a fully immersive Victorian experience.

guests booked onto the event are politely requested not to bring any form of paranormal equipment along as these items will not be able to be bought into the building or used during the duration of the evening.)
