Wolverhampton-based Elevas has acquired three Volvo FH16 780 6x4 tractor units, all plated for 150-tonne operation! 🚛

Sold by Jamie Stanley, Regional Sales Manager, Hartshorne Group, the new trucks will be used to move various heavy industrial equipment to and from customer sites, working predominantly across the Midlands.

Our second year HGV technician apprentices have been developing not only their technical abilities but also their understanding of how our business operates as a whole. That’s the purpose behind our multiskilling challenges — giving apprentices the chance to step outside their day-to-day responsibilities and gain confidence in new environments.

The group spent time with our Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), taking customer calls, liaising with the workshop teams, and keeping customers informed throughout the process.

Multiskilling plays a vital role in shaping apprentices who can think broadly, appreciate how each department links together, and build the flexibility needed to progress in their careers.

A big thank-you to both our apprentices for getting stuck in and to our CSRs for their guidance and support. We’re excited to see what the next challenge has in store.
