🚛 Introducing 1 of 2 stunning new Volvo FH Aeros joining the Seth Punchard Storage & Distribution fleet.

This XL Aero cab is fully spec’d with our 13L 540hp engine, full air suspension, leather air cooled seats, side skirts, alloy wheels, TV, fridge, and microwave. Finished in black with pink Kelsa light bars and a Trux bull bar, they are a standout addition to the fleet.

Friday Intro 👋

Today we’re putting the spotlight on Jamie, who has been a valued member of the Hartshorne team for nearly 11 years.

Jamie joined us as a Trainee Area Truck Sales Manager, progressing to Area Truck Sales Manager and most recently stepping into a regional role at the start of 2025.

Outside of supporting his customers, Jamie is currently training for the London Marathon to raise funds for ‘Ambitious About Autism’, and when he’s not out clocking up the miles, he enjoys spending quality time with his family.

Jamie is Hartshorne through and through — with extensive knowledge of the Volvo product and a dedicated, customer‑focused approach. He’s your go‑to contact for Walsall, whether you’re exploring your first Volvo truck or expanding your existing fleet.

We’re excited to share that on 14th May, the Hartshorne sales team will be taking on the Jurassic Coastal Hike — a full marathon-distance challenge along the coastal paths of the South Coast.

Covering rugged cliffs and steep ascents, this iconic route stretches for 26 miles, and we’re aiming to complete the entire hike within 11 hours. We are looking forward to pushing ourselves for a great cause – Promise Dreams.

Promise Dreams is a national charity that aims to make a real difference to children who are seriously or terminally ill.

“Every child has a dream and whatever it may be, we aim to make it come true – whether it be to go on the holiday of a lifetime to make special memories and spend quality time with their loved ones, to meet their celebrity hero, to own a specially-adapted trike so they can join in on family bike rides, or to have essential specialist equipment installed in their home to make day to day life a little easier” – Promise Dreams

What a line up - 3 new additions joining the fleet at D.R & F.A Ford Transport Ltd.

Supplied by Kerry Thomas, these new Volvo FH Aeros feature the XL Globetrotter cab, 460hp Turbo Compound engine with I-Save, Leather seats, camera monitoring system, GSR2 safety package, push button start, load indicator and the drive extended package.

With over 35 years industry experience, the team specialise in flatbed transport, chip liners, curtain sided trailers, low loaders, moving floor trailers – delivering a range of products across the UK & Northern Europe.

His commitment to operational excellence, team development, and customer satisfaction has made a significant impact at our Stoke on Trent depot.

Upon receiving the award, Rob said, “This award is a reflection of the fantastic team I have around me. With over 90 years of experience within the transport industry, the team at BJ Waters specialise in bulk tipper movements and hazardous goods transportation from their three depots across the Midlands, to serve customers throughout the UK and Europe.

This latest addition comes equipped with our 13L 540 engine, dual clutch, low chassis, Drive+, full air kit, full ADR specification, alloy wheels, I-Park Cool, fridge and microwave. The vehicle has been finished in Metallic Silver.
