Kirsty Manvell Canine and Equine Body Worker and Microchipping Service Equine + Canine Massage + Small Pet Microchipping Service (EEBW, CCBW BSc (Hons) Equine Sports Therapy and Peddymark) -Hertfordshire and Surrounding Areas

My name is Kirsty Manvell and I am a qualified Equine Body Worker. I am also fully qualified to microchip animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits and small mammals. I have gained my BSc (Hons) Equine Sports Therapy degree. I am also fully insured. I have also completed my Horse and Rider - First aid course. A Little About Equine Body Work:
Equine body work consists of a range of massage techniques, stretches and range of motion exercises to help the horse. Massage and stretching help improve blood flow, range of motion, releases tension and can enhance performance overall. Areas I Cover:
I cover Hertfordshire and Essex area and some parts of Middlesex. A small charge will be added if the journey is over 45 minutes away but this can be arranged before your massage session. A Typical Session:
A typical session will usually last between and hour to a hour and a half and a initial session can take up to 2 hours but this can vary depending on the horse. During the first session with your horse I will do an initial assessment. This includes watching the horses being walked and trotted and also if possible lunged in all 3 gaits. This will give me an idea of what areas need working on. Once the initial assessment has been completed I will begin with the body work. This will mainly include massage techniques over the horses whole body. Some areas will possibly be worked on more than others depending on the horse. Once the body work is completed a form will be handed to you telling you what has been done and some exercises will be given to you to help improve the horse between sessions. Theses exercises may include massage techniques or stretches which will be taught to you or they may be ground work or ridden exercises. Prices:
Initial session: £40
Initial session (3+ horses at the same yard): £38 per horse
Typical session: £38
Typical session (3+ horses at the same yard): £36 per horse
Microchipping: 1 pet £18
Microchipping : 2 or more pets £15 each

Further Information:
Before I am legally able to massage your horse I must have vet permission. During the initial session a form will be given to you to fill out and sign about your horses background history and to say that you have asked your vet for permission. Microchipping:
I am fully qualified to microchip animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets and small mammals. I am unable BY LAW to microchip any horses, reptiles or birds due to the fact that the microchip in these animal to into muscle and not just under the skin.
