We are currently looking for compassionate, reliable individuals to join our on-call team.

🕊 Opportunities
- On-Call Team Members
- Casual Staff Members

🖤 The Role
- Collecting the deceased and bringing them into our care this may involve challenging locations and circumstances.
- Driving our vehicles and ensuring all are in a pristine condition for each funeral.
- Acting as a bearer
- Supporting our local communities and acting as a trusted ambassador for our funeral care services
- This role will involve manual handling.

⏰ Shift Options
We are happy to accept candidates who can work half shifts and certain days. Please contact us to talk to us about your availability.

🚗 Requirements
Full, valid UK driving licence
Emotionally mature and empathetic nature
Reliable, flexible and professional
Physically able to meet the demands of the role

This position would suit someone who understands the importance of dignity, care and compassion, and who can remain calm and respectful in sensitive situations.

Today we were blessed with the honour of guiding a cherished lady from our Walthamstow community on her final journey. The quiet elegance of the Bentleys, graciously supplied by Matthew of W. Uden & Sons Family Funeral Directors, and the majestic black horses provided by Sonny Hillier Horse Drawn Carriages, helped create a farewell that felt touched by grace.

In moments like these, we are reminded that every life is a sacred story — a light that continues to shine in the hearts it leaves behind. Our role is to listen, to understand, and to help families shape a goodbye that gently reflects the spirit of the one they love.

It is with deep sadness that we have learned about the passing of a true local legend, Billy Bonds MBE.

A cherished member of our community, Billy Bonds was not only an exceptional football player, but also a mentor, teammate, and friend whose passion for the game inspired generations.

On and off the pitch, his commitment, sportsmanship, and kindness made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on at West Ham United, the young players he guided, and the countless memories he leaves behind.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, former teammates, and all who loved and admired him.

At Eternal Pages Funeral Diectoes, we believe every funeral is unique in its own special way.
Today, the family chose a beautiful horse-drawn hearse, lovingly supplied by Sonny Hillier Horse Drawn Carriages, creating a truly meaningful tribute.

The service was conducted by the wonderful Beau Taylored, who ensured every detail was tailored to the family’s wishes.

The stunning floral arrangements were created by Essex Flower Studio, adding a personal and elegant touch to the day.

We are honoured to support families during these moments and help create a farewell that reflects the life of their loved one. 🕊️

On this Remembrance Sunday, we join our community in honouring all who served and sacrificed for our freedom.

Company Director Adam - his Great Grandfather lost his life fighting for our country on the burma railway.

For those that gave their tommorow for our today.

They Shall Grow Not Old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
