We are currently looking for compassionate, reliable individuals to join our on-call team.

🕊 Opportunities
- On-Call Team Members
- Casual Staff Members

🖤 The Role
- Collecting the deceased and bringing them into our care this may involve challenging locations and circumstances.
- Driving our vehicles and ensuring all are in a pristine condition for each funeral.
- Acting as a bearer
- Supporting our local communities and acting as a trusted ambassador for our funeral care services
- This role will involve manual handling.

⏰ Shift Options
We are happy to accept candidates who can work half shifts and certain days. Please contact us to talk to us about your availability.

🚗 Requirements
Full, valid UK driving licence
Emotionally mature and empathetic nature
Reliable, flexible and professional
Physically able to meet the demands of the role

This position would suit someone who understands the importance of dignity, care and compassion, and who can remain calm and respectful in sensitive situations.

It is with deep sadness that we have learned about the passing of a true local legend, Billy Bonds MBE.

A cherished member of our community, Billy Bonds was not only an exceptional football player, but also a mentor, teammate, and friend whose passion for the game inspired generations.

On and off the pitch, his commitment, sportsmanship, and kindness made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on at West Ham United, the young players he guided, and the countless memories he leaves behind.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, former teammates, and all who loved and admired him.

Today, the family chose a beautiful horse-drawn hearse, lovingly supplied by Sonny Hillier Horse Drawn Carriages, creating a truly meaningful tribute.

The service was conducted by the wonderful Beau Taylored, who ensured every detail was tailored to the family’s wishes.

The stunning floral arrangements were created by Essex Flower Studio, adding a personal and elegant touch to the day.
