From today Empty Hands Defence will be incorporating the new EURneffy Anaphylaxis Nasal Spray into all our training. This is the first needle free alternative to the normal devices like the EpiPen.

Some lovely feedback from a recent session of First Aid for the Brownies.

Hi David

Thanks for doing the first aid session with the Brownies. We felt it was a very successful evening especially considering the large size of our group.

We felt that ypu engaged the Brownies really well, and the session managed to cover all the aspects of the Brownie skills builder badge.

Again, thank you so much. We look forward to seeing you again in 3 years.

So today we were at the St Nicholas C of E Primary School in East Challow teaching years 5 & 6 students CPR and the Recovery Position. Well done to all those that took part.

We have been at the Charlton Primary School in Wantage for the last two days delivering Restart the Heart training to year 5 students. This involved practicing CPR and the Recovery Position. Well done to all in Year 5.

Located in Wantage, Charlton is a well-established two form entry school, that has been part of the local community since 1964.

🇬🇧 Today marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day — Victory in Europe.

🇬🇧 On 8th May 1945, the Second World War in Europe came to an end.

🇬🇧 As we mark this historic milestone, we honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served and suffered.

🇬🇧 384,000 British soldiers and 70,000 civilians lost their lives in the fight for freedom.

🙏 We owe them a debt that can never be repaid — but we remember.

💙 As we face new challenges in this ever-changing world, may we never take peace for granted — and may we never, ever forget the cost at which it was won.
