✨ Cooper & Eve – Supporting the Trick Riding Horse ✨
Cooper is a former trick riding horse, owned by Eve — a discipline that places huge demands on strength, balance, flexibility and the nervous system.
When I first assessed Cooper, Eve explained that he felt significantly restricted on the left rein, with increasing tension, anxiety and reactivity. He had previously stopped trick riding following a suspected suspensory ligament strain, which had resolved, but compensation and discomfort were clearly affecting how he was moving and feeling under saddle.
✨ The difference now ✨
Eve reports that Cooper feels freer, more balanced, and more comfortable, with improved engagement and propulsion from behind. Work has been kept sensible and progressive, focusing on in-hand exercises and light ridden work — always listening to what Cooper tells us.
💙 Why chiropractic matters for trick horses
Trick riding requires exceptional body awareness and symmetry. Chiropractic care helps:
• Improve mobility and balance
• Support recovery from past injury
• Reduce compensatory tension
• Support both physical and behavioural comfort
Cooper is now on a 3-monthly maintenance programme, helping to support his body as his workload continues and keep him feeling his best long term.
Just look at these two in action 😍
When you’re sent photos this good, choosing just one is impossible 🙈✨
✨ When should you consider a chiropractic care for your horse?
If your horse feels stiff on one rein, changes behaviour, loses balance, or feels “not quite right” — it may be time to have them assessed.
Huge credit to Eve for always putting Cooper’s wellbeing first 🐎💙
