🌟 URGENT LIVE-IN CARER ROLE: Immediate Start in Hertfordshire 🌟
We are looking for an experienced, self-employed Live-In Carer to provide dedicated support and companionship to a wonderful elderly Client with early-stage dementia in Stanstead Abbotts, Hertfordshire (EN11).

This is a fulfilling role focusing on maintaining a rich, active social life and excellent administrative support.

📅 THE ROLE & THE PACKAGE
Start Date: IMMEDIATE / November Start 🚀

Shift Pattern: 2-Month Blocks for great continuity.

Daily Break: Guaranteed 2 hours of protected break time each day.

Accommodation: Excellent! You will have your own private bedroom and private bathroom.

Food & Expenses: All Carer Meals Included! Mileage incurred on duty is reimbursed.

Rate: Negotiable and based on experience. Please submit your proposed daily rate.

🔑 CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
We need a proactive carer with strong organisational skills:

Appointment Management: Booking, coordinating, and providing transport for all medical appointments (doctors, hospitals).

Driving: Must use your own reliable car with business insurance for all outings.

Cooking: Ability to prepare a good variety of fresh, healthy, and appealing meals daily.

Companionship: Focus on social engagement, taking the client to friends, family, and activities.

Care: Medication management, shopping, and light housekeeping. (No personal care currently required).

✅ ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Dementia Expertise: Proven experience and training is non-negotiable.

Communication: Must speak, read, and write clear, professional English.

Logistics: Must own a reliable car with business insurance.

Background: Valid DBS check and strong references.

We are looking for kind, compassionate carers, but must have drivers licence and access to a car, to come and work for a local based family run agency.We have for the 2nd year have achieved being one of the Top 20 providers in the whole of the East of England. Are you looking for a change in career and looking too join a family run service with a great friendly team. We are after people that have a caring nature, have empathy, great communication skills, like to chat, listen and enjoy being around our clients. We are here to keep our clients safe in their home for as long as they can. We assist with personal care, medication, food and fluids , light housework duties, assist to access the community so that our clients are not isolated, so could be their clubs or just to the garden centre of for coffee. No two days are the same. Driving licence and access to a car is required, no experience needed as training will be provided. Uniform. We have EAP for our carers and also after 3 month probation period we will then enrol you on Bupa Cashback plan. Full time and part time vacancies available preferably 7am start also includes evenings and weekends. We are open 365 days a year.

So someone came into work today who's husband has dementia and he had one of these on his coat. I've never seen or heard about them and she was saying how very few people have n i ssked if i could post this pic on here and she agreed so let's raise some awareness.... if you see someone alone and looking lost and they have one of these on show just scan this with ur mobile and it will bring up the details of family so you can get them back home safely. Such a good thing ❤️❤️
