Left the Met Police as a Detective 🚓✌️ to join Hair to Ware with my mum 💇‍♀️💕

No one understood why ,Secret hair loss 🤫 back when only my nearest & dearest really knew! Coming out with it was scary but honestly the best healing process EVER ✨

We Moved into 67 High Street — twice the size, big boss energy only !

Hair changing faster than my mood in 2016:

I lost all my hair at 14 , every single strand, within two weeks. I remember looking in the mirror and feeling completely unrecognisable. I didn’t know how I was going to navigate life from that point.

But here’s the biggest lesson I’ve learned , accept it.
When I accepted my hair loss, everything changed!

For years, I hated wigs even the word made me cringe. Now? I’m obsessed! Hence… you know The Wig Shop 🤣

It was a full 360° moment for me. Once I started to enjoy my wigs instead of resenting them, my confidence came back and some And that’s what I get to help others find every single day that feeling of empowerment and self-love.

I’m not saying a wig will change your life… but for me, it absolutely did. I feel bloody good! 💁‍♀️

I don’t talk about my hair loss every day , I don’t need to. I’ve never gone out without a wig, but that’s my choice. I own my hair loss now and it doesn’t own me.

And yes , I still can’t stand the word syrup 😅 (honestly, worse than dropping the C-bomb in my salon be warned ! )

Anyway, this is just me shouting from the rooftops:

✨ Winter Hair & Scalp Care Reminder ✨

With winter on the horizon, it’s time to show ourselves hair and our scalps some extra love! ❄️💆‍♀️

Remember, caring for your scalp is just as important whether you have hair or wear wigs and toppers. We recommend (and stock!) so many amazing products to support healthy scalps with Lenative Scalp Cream being our absolute number one go-to for everyone. 🌿

As the weather gets colder and we start layering up with cosy jumpers, scarves, and coats, don’t forget that your wigs and toppers need extra care too! The extra friction can cause frizz, fibre rub, and split ends.

✨ For human hair, add 2 extra pumps of our Oil under the hairline, around the nape, and through the lengths.
✨ For synthetic or HD fibre, use our Fibre Conditioning Spray after every wear , my mantra is spray until you see the oil! New wigs will need less, but as they age, use a little more.

Also, give your hair some love with deep leave-in treatments to boost hydration. While heating and fires keep us cosy, they’re not great for hair or wigs — so moisture is key! 💧

All of the products we recommend are available in-salon and on our website — because we only sell what we truly believe in and use ourselves. 💕
