With Toads 🐸 being the top of the agenda in Warminster… today we pulled what looks suspiciously like a tadpole out of a lovely lady’s ear 🐸

I assure you it was indeed just wax and keratin/skin… but it really resembled a tadpole so I thought we’d share it with you. (Video of removal to follow)

Not sure what is causing the pain/blockage.. No problem. We can assess the ear, if it’s wax we can remove it the same day or if it is an ear infection we can issue a private prescription for antibiotics (if indicated)

❗️Hearing Aid Users, if you wear hearing aids that have these little filters in please always check when you remove them that the filters are still intact. They have a tendency to come out of the hearing aid & down the ear canal ❗️

‎Constant use of AirPods and earphones at high volumes can cause Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and this type of hearing loss is permanent and irreversible.
‎When you are exposed to loud sounds for long periods, the tiny hair cells in your inner ear become damaged. Once these cells are destroyed, they do not grow back. This means the hearing loss cannot be reversed.
‎In addition, wearing AirPods or earphones for extended periods can trap moisture, sweat, and bacteria inside the ear canal and prevent the ear’s natural self-cleaning process. This increases the risk of:
