This would have meant the world to Charlie. Thanks also go to Sadie McAteer for her beautiful singing during the mass.

He was blessed to have a wonderful team of carers from Quality Care, who treated him like family, specifically George, Carla, Niall, Ruby, Cara and Aine. We would also like to thank the district nursing team as well as the acute care at home team who were an amazing source of help and advice. We were blessed to also have the amazing GP’s from Cornmarket Surgery (Dr’s Magennis, Barrett and Grant) coordinating Charlie’s care. We will be forever grateful for their efficient and hands on care. Our thanks also go to the teams from Evora hospice and Marie Curie. Your phone calls, visits and overnight sits meant more to us that you will ever know.

Finally, we would like to thank Cathal, Meabh and the whole team from McAnulty’s Funeral Directors for their immensely professional and compassionate care during the time of the wake and the funeral. As a family, it meant a great deal to us knowing that the arrangements were in such experienced hands.
