Some of our Service Users and staff attended the Balance Care annual Christmas Party yesterday, which also coincided with Christmas jumper day 2025. We all had a blast with our very owen DJ Slash on the mike keeping the entertainment flowing.
We even took a moment to celebrate a birthday - it was all go!

💬 It’s International Stress Awareness Week 2025 — a timely reminder that stress touches all of us, no matter our role or responsibilities.

It’s important to pause, check in with ourselves, and recognise when stress starts to build. It’s easy to keep pushing through — but taking time to rest, set boundaries, and ask for support can make a real difference.

This week, we encourage everyone to:
🌿 Take breaks without guilt
🗣️ Talk openly about stress instead of hiding it
💪 Remember that looking after your wellbeing isn’t a luxury — it’s essential
Let’s use this week as a reminder to be kind to ourselves and to those around us who might be carrying more than they show. 💚

Yesterday, we joined the world in recognizing World Stroke Awareness Day

To mark the occasion, we invited all team members to wear purple, the Stroke Association’s signature colour, to show our solidarity and support for those affected by stroke. 💜

It was inspiring to see so many of our colleagues come together to raise awareness and stand with the stroke community.
