Yesterday we held a surprise baby shower for our Deputy Manager Gemma and TCO Shaun. We had such a lovely lunch.

Yesterday was time for our service user monthly lunch club. We had a few cancellations but still a nice little turnout for a Toby Carvery where the holiday voting took place - looks like we're off to Blackpool!

International Hot & Spicy Food Day!
Today's celebration is an annual celebration to explore different fiery flavours by trying foods from all around the world known for their heat. You can use various chilli's such as jalapeños, habanero, scotch bonnet, sweet chillies and even a Carolina reaper if you're brave enough!
Why don't you try experimenting in your meals today and try either a new recipe or add some heat to your existing food...
Keep a glass of milk close by though as the dairy will help you to soothe the heat (unlike water)

Here in the office we have resolutions of eating healthier; being more positive; a reverse dry Jan - drinking electrolytes daily; starting couch to 5k and a dry January!
