What a truly special weekend at The Oaks Nursing Home! 💙

They were absolutely delighted to welcome Welsh legend, entertainer, singer-songwriter and comedian, Max Boyce, who kindly popped in to spend time with our residents.

Max brought so much joy, laughter and music with him—taking the time to chat, connect and join in the fun. Moments like these mean so much to everyone, creating memories that will be treasured for a long time.

A particular highlight was a wonderful sing-song with our fantastic Activity Coordinator, Cheryl—what a moment! 🎶

Thank you, Max, for making the day so memorable for the residents and team.

🌞 Making the most of the sunshine! 🌞

On Thursday, some of our lovely residents at Fleetwood Hall Care Home enjoyed a trip to the beach – and what a gorgeous day it was! 🌊

With the sun shining and fresh sea air all around, everyone had a wonderful time taking in the views, sharing laughs, and enjoying a change of scenery. Days like these are so special and create such lovely memories for our residents 💙

A big thank you to Janice, Lisa and Michelle – for making the day possible and ensuring everyone had such a great time 👏

Yesterday we celebrated International Women’s Day across Sandstone Care Group ❤️

At Ribble Court Nursing Home, one of our wonderful homes, the day began with sharing advice and encouragement for younger women in society — a lovely way to celebrate the strength, wisdom and support women give one another.

In the afternoon, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved coffee and cake together 🍰☕️

A big thank you to all the incredible women across our homes — both residents and team members — who inspire us every day.

A wonderful day out for the residents at St Helens Hall Care Home! 😁

The group enjoyed a trip to the famous Liverpool docks, followed by a visit to the Museum of Liverpool where they explored the city’s rich history and culture. The day was topped off perfectly with a well-deserved ice cream from McDonald’s! 🍦

Trips like these are such a lovely way to enjoy new surroundings, reminisce, and make special memories together. Thank you to the team at St Helens Hall for organising such a fantastic outing for residents. 💙

Residents at Dalton Court have enjoyed freshly made pancakes, choosing their favourite toppings before taking part in a fun pancake-flipping activity filled with laughter and friendly competition.
