While travelling in 2024, I broke my wrist, an injury that kept me from Doing in the same way but also taught me patience, gratitude, and perspective. These past few months have been filled with figuring out my body in both new and playful ways: finding balance on a snowboard and strength in an aerial hoop. Kayaking on the regular and walking on the daily, not for step counts but to dance in shadows and make connection with the local ducks.
Beauty and joy can be ever present in the Cup once you know where to look. So many moments captured on this device but at the end of each day lived, sleep beckons and I think--i'll post it tomorrow. Well, tomorrow has come and my phone threatens storage sabotage. So here are snippets. Of life moving behind the scenes.

January has been a long month...

I don’t think you’re simply tired,

I think you’re regenerating.

Like all of mother nature’s children in winter, your instinct is to curl up, hunker down and reset.

You’re not less.
You’re simply in tune with the sun.

And as the dark days begin to wane, your inner wild fortifies and evolves, bolstered and renewed, cocoon-style.

Ready for the new beginnings, ready for the reinvent.
Ready.
Simply ready.

So, let yourself be led down the rabbit hole, when the weariness washes over and your body begs to rest.

I don’t think you’re simply tired.
I think you’re regenerating.

Don’t wait til I’m gone
And then stand up to speak
About all the things
That you loved about me

Don’t sing all my praises
Through all of your tears
When I am no longer
Beside you to hear

Don’t leave all that love
Like a secret unsaid
But tell me tomorrow
Or right now instead

And I’ll tell you too
Of the things I admire
About who you are
And how much you inspire

I’ll speak from my heart
Whilst you’re still here to know
“You are” not “you were”
Or “it used to be so”

I’ll speak of your light
Whilst you’ll still hear the words
And not leave that love
In the darkness, unheard

So tell me tomorrow
Or right now - don’t wait
Because we don’t know
When it might be too late

Because we don’t know
When our time might be up
And we need to hear - while we are here -
How we’re loved.

The Call of the Wildcat

The wildcat is her guide, her mirror.
She loves cats because they carry a wisdom
That she, too, can embody.
They show her how to live unchained,
How to honor the wild within herself—
To walk through life with ease, grace, and freedom,
Unburdened by demands that do not come from her soul.

In every movement, a cat reveals its brilliance—
Its sharpness, its presence,
Its bright awareness of the world.
There is no excess, no striving, only being:
A quiet mastery of the art of now.

The wildcat knows freedom is not a rebellion,
But a way of living deeply, simply.
It does not long for what it does not have,
But delights in a warm beam of sunlight,
A soft corner to rest in,
And the rhythmic, grounding pulse of its own purr.
In its presence, she sees how to love life as it is,
How to find contentment in simplicity.

And yet, the wildcat embraces its tenderness,
Unashamed of the softness it carries within.
It knows the strength of being gentle,
The quiet dignity of holding the untamed
Without losing its wildness.

🐱Wildcat’s Invication

Wildcat, let me learn from you,
From the fluid grace of your movements,
And how you bow to no one.
Your softness—ah, your softness—such a treasure.

Teach me to guard my spirit as fiercely as you do,
To bare my claws when life demands it,
But to stretch unarmed,
In the sanctuary of sunlight.

Wildcat, show me the beauty of being free:
To walk alone, yet deeply connected.
To love with open hands,
Without chains, without fear.

I will carry your wisdom in my blood,
Untamable and true.
For I, too, am a creature of the wild.
I, too, am the call of the untamed.

Own It~
"Own the fact that you are different
Own that you are a deep feeler and thinker
Own that you're tuned into a different frequency
Own the fact that you sense things others don't
Own the fact that you want to talk about angels,
energy, miracles and spirituality
Own that you're done having meaningless conversations
Own that you're done holding yourself back
Own that you crave freedom to feel the now
It's ok if your family don't get you.
It's ok if your friends don't join you
It's ok if the world judges you
It's ok that you want to dance barefoot upon the earth
and endlessly gaze at the stars
It's ok that you cry over sunsets and chase moonbeams
It's wonderful in fact. It's beautiful
You have come a long way to be who you are
So own it. Own all of it. Love all of you
The world needs you to be exactly as you are
You hold the balance in this crazy world"
