SAGE (SALVIA)
The word SALVIA comes from the Latin "Salvio" meaning to heal.
An old proverb says
"why should a man die, who has sage in his garden?"

Today I am picking and drying some of my sage to make my oil pulling recipe which also includes clove and chamomile.
This is a 72hr double extraction infusion which ensures that ALL the medicinal properties have been extracted
This combination, when used regularly, can support oral hygiene by reducing inflammation, soothing the gums, and helping prevent plaque buildup for fresher breath and healthier gums.

When sage is burnt, the negative ions (the goodies).... dissipates the positive ions (the baddies) which is how it dissolves negativity in the air in its sciencey sense.

It's amazing used ceremonially and personally as part of your spiritual cleansing practices or aiding meditation, however the sage we grow in the UK has a different scent to the white sage which is now grossly overharvested.

Sage is associated with the element of air, the moon and the planet Jupiter. It is closely linked to our thoughts, emotional self, the heart and root chakras and aids us to purify, expand and re-fill our cup with optimism and happiness.

Medicinally it is a known antidepressant stimulating serotonin production, it helps with the menopausal hot flushes, amazing for oral hygiene as a mouth wash or for oil pulling. Great for skin and gut health, bloating, arthritis, memory and cognition.....the list goes on!!!

Cold & Flu Sage tea
1 ยฝ teaspoon dried herbs
or 3 teaspoon fresh per cup of water.
Add some honey or Lemon to taste.
You can drink this twice a day and can store it overnight in the fridge, so make whatever quantity you need.
โŽWarning: avoid drinking sage tea if you are pregnant or breastfeeding โŽ

I always have a plentiful supply of sage for smudging or loose sage for tea. Just get in touch in you need some.

Welcome I am an Intuitive Energy practitioner trained in traditional Usui Reiki and a Master Herbalist. During a energy healing session you are given the space, to enter a state of deep relaxation where you can unlock your own potential and inner healing. During a session I draw on my experience of sound, scent and meditation therapies to give you a full sensory experience. This is a none invasive therapy in a safe space, you are fully clothed throughout.
