It’s national safe guarding awareness week this week. Meet Tyler who is supported by our Shared Lives project at MacIntyre. Tyler is a dedicated volunteer working at the Old School and loves helping others.

In his work and life he is focused on two key safeguarding principles. Prevention and empowerment. Looking at preventing harm/risk before it occurs in his role. Tyler knows if there is a safeguarding issue at work to report it straight to Emma his manager and in his personal life any concerns he passes it straight to Emily his Shared Lives support.

Empowerment is another principle Tyler is passionate about through his work role setting up rooms and equipment for community groups to deliver, also supporting and lending a hand to his friends at the garden gang on the activities in the garden as a social community growing project.

Great job Tyler keep it up. 🙌🏻

It’s national safeguarding week this week and today Pete caught up with Russell to talk about partnerships, one of the key principles of safeguarding. Russell keeps himself busy with his partnership work with the Living Well Hub delivering his community quiz and also his advocacy work with the Speak Up For All group in his local community here in Warrington.
