Reminder to our Wheels for All community as our Hubs reopen over the next few weeks! 🚲

From 1st January 2026, our standard session fee will increase from £5 to £6 – our first price change since 2020. In 2025 we opened new hubs, launched our Inclusive Cycling Network and continued delivering safe, welcoming sessions across the country. With rising costs and increasing pressure on charity funding, this small change helps us keep our sessions running sustainably.

Alongside this, we’ve introduced optional supporter tickets for anyone who is able to give a little extra. The standard £6 ticket will always remain available, and we never want cost to be a barrier to taking part.

You can find full details on our website, including supporter ticket options, Pedal Away pricing, how your money is used, and what support is available if paying the fee is difficult ❤️

This April, Wheels for All supporter Julia will be taking on the Manchester Marathon to raise funds for inclusive cycling – and true to form, she’ll be standing out from the crowd in a bold burst of colour similar to our very own Wheels for All branding 💙💛❤️

Julia chose to support Wheels for All after seeing the impact of our sessions first-hand. One of her cousins, who is autistic, attended a Wheels for All session and not only rode a cycle for the very first time, but also spoke – something that is incredibly rare for her.

It was a truly special moment, made possible by inclusive cycling, a welcoming environment, and the dedication of our amazing volunteers 🚲

You can support Julia’s incredible challenge and help create more moments like this by donating via her JustGiving page here: https://rpb.li/7ge

We’re so grateful to Julia for running, fundraising, and helping more life-changing moments happen. Good luck, Julia – we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! 🙌🎉

It's the last week of January (finally!), have you stuck to your new years resolution? ✨

If so then why not add another to your list and donate your time by becoming a volunteer with Wheels for All!

Our sessions are starting back up over the next few weeks after our winter closure, and we’re welcoming new volunteers to join us in 2026. While we have many volunteer roles, what you do with us is always shaped around you. We take time to get to know each person, their interests and their needs, so volunteering with Wheels for All is flexible and supportive.

We’d love you to come along to your nearest session, see what we do, have a chat with the team and decide if it’s right for you. No cycling experience needed – just a friendly attitude and a willingness to help.

Make 2026 the year you try something new and give back ❤️

Yesterday, we were thrilled to host a follow-up meeting to our Pedal Together LCR event, which took place last September 👍

It was fantastic to reconnect with attendees from a range of sectors to discuss next steps and how we can continue making inclusive cycling more accessible across the Liverpool City Region.

The morning was filled with insightful conversations and the creation of inspiring plans for 2026 and beyond, all rounded off with a lovely inclusive ride around nearby Sefton Park 🚲🌳

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, and to Greenbank Sports Academy for hosting us. We’re incredibly excited to see inclusive cycling across LCR continue to flourish in 2026 and beyond 🎉

A huge thank you to Cheshire Community Foundation for their support in helping our Warrington Hub deliver inclusive cycling sessions, so that stories like David's can become a reality for many more disabled people in the town ❤️

Freedom. Independence. Joy.
That's what Wheels for All Cheshire provides at Victoria Park - accessible cycling for everyone, regardless of ability.

David's story: For over 10 years, his family has brought him to Wheels for All. It's the only place where he can exercise independently in a safe, supportive environment. Over time, David has transformed. He now books himself in, chats with volunteers, chooses his bike. His confidence has soared.

"The welcoming atmosphere has been key to his development, and we're deeply grateful to the volunteers who make it possible."

Through the Warrington Fund, Wheels for All has provided:
21 sessions
979 individual rides
215 unique riders

Everyone deserves the freedom to cycle, to be active, to belong.

Today is often called Blue Monday and at Wheels for All, we see every day how cycling can support mental health. Riding a bike can help reduce stress, boost mood, improve sleep and give a real sense of freedom and achievement. Time outdoors and the chance to connect with others can all play a part in supporting wellbeing 🚲💙

That said, we also know that mental health isn’t always as simple as getting on a cycle. Some days are harder than others, and it’s important to recognise when extra support is needed.

If you or someone you know is struggling, our friends at Mind, the mental health charity, offer trusted advice, information and support for mental wellbeing.

Be kind to yourself today, take things at your own pace, and remember that every ride, big or small, counts 💙

Fantastic news to share this morning as the biggest cycling event in the world - the Tour de France - is announced as passing through Liverpool City Region next year! 🚲🥳

As many of you will know Wheels for All has a number of inclusive cycling hubs in and around Liverpool so this is a fantastic opportunity to highlight cycling in ALL its forms across the region.

Great to see our Patron, Chris Boardman CBE, speaking about this alongside Liverpool City Region Combined Authority too AND keep an eye out at the 46 second mark of this video to see some very familiar inclusive cycles from us here at Wheels for All! 😉

We'll see you along the banks of the Mersey in July 2027! 🚲

As we look ahead to 2026, we want to share an important update with our Wheels for All community. From 1st January 2026, our standard session fee will increase from £5 to £6, the first change since 2020.

Over the past year we’ve opened new hubs, launched our Inclusive Cycling Network and continued to deliver safe, welcoming sessions across the country. However, the cost of running an inclusive cycling session has increased significantly, and like many charities, fundraising has become more challenging.

Alongside this small increase, we’re also introducing optional supporter tickets for those who are able to contribute a little more, helping us keep sessions accessible for everyone. The standard £6 ticket will remain available to all, and we never want cost to be a barrier to taking part.

We’ve shared full details, including supporter ticket options, Pedal Away pricing, how your money is used, and the support available if paying the fee is difficult, in a full statement on our website 🚲

We can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together in the year ahead — more rides, more smiles and more opportunities for everyone to enjoy the freedom of cycling.
