Today, we’d like to wish everyone in our Wheels for All community a very Merry Christmas. Thank you to our incredible participants, families, volunteers, partners and supporters for being part of everything we do.

Your kindness and commitment help make inclusive cycling possible for disabled people across the country — and we’re so grateful to have you riding alongside us.

We hope today brings moments of joy and togetherness. We can’t wait to see you again soon 💙🚲✨

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been delighted to hold Christmas meals (or Christmas darts and mini golf in our East region's case!) across the country to say thank you to our incredible volunteers in every region ❤️🍽

These gatherings have been a chance to come together, share stories, reflect on the year and celebrate the people who make Wheels for All possible — from supporting sessions to welcoming participants with warmth and care.

We’re so grateful for every volunteer who gives their time, energy and kindness throughout the year. Here’s a round-up of photos from the meals held so far — a small snapshot of a huge thank you from all of us 🚲✨

One final partnership before Christmas... We’re delighted to welcome Bike It, Walk It to the Wheels for All network 🙌

It was fantastic to visit the team last week and see their enthusiasm first-hand — especially as they took delivery of some new adapted cycles, helping to open up inclusive cycling opportunities for even more people in their community.

We’re really looking forward to working together and seeing the impact this partnership will have.

We’d like to say a huge festive thank you to our amazing volunteer Peter, who designed this year’s Wheels for All Christmas card, sent to all our volunteers, internal staff and supporters 🚲🎅

Peter volunteers with us in Woking and is a keen cyclist, bringing creativity into everything he does. Alongside Wheels for All, he has also given his time as a Scout leader and as a Home for Ukraine support worker — a true example of volunteering making a difference in so many ways.

We’re incredibly grateful that Peter shared his talent with us, helping us spread festive thanks and appreciation across the Wheels for All community ❤️

A gentle reminder this festive season from Wheels for All 💙

We know that this time of year can be difficult for some people. While there can be lots of messages of celebration, it’s also okay if things feel overwhelming, lonely or hard right now.

If you’re struggling, you don’t have to face it alone. Reaching out for support can make a real difference. Charities such as Mind offer help, information and urgent support for anyone who needs it.

You can find their support resources here 👉 https://rpb.li/LMhDS

Please take care of yourself, and don’t hesitate to seek support if you need it 🤍

Great to hear inclusive cycling on the airwaves! 🎧🚲

We’re proud to hear our Patron, Chris Boardman CBE, appear on the BBC Sounds Rare Earth podcast, joining the conversation on city transport and how we move around our towns and cities.

The episode explores some of the biggest and most debated issues in transport right now — from low traffic neighbourhoods and 15-minute cities, to congestion charging, public transport and whether cycling really can be part of the solution.

We were especially delighted to hear inclusive cycling for disabled people mentioned around the 30-minute mark, highlighting the importance of making active travel accessible and inclusive for everyone, whatever their ability 🙌

If you’re interested in how transport can be faster, fairer and work better for all of us, this episode is well worth a listen.

We’re feeling incredibly festive and very grateful 🎄✨

A huge thank you to Kingston Wheelers for raising an amazing £500 for our Wheels for All Kingston Hub at their annual Christmas party at Park Brewery last week!

Around 50 members came together to celebrate the year, share cycling stories and, through a prize raffle, raise vital funds that will help more disabled people and their families experience the joy of cycling.

Support like this makes a real difference to our local Hubs - thank you for making inclusive cycling part of your Christmas tradition 💙🚲

Meet the children from Mayflower Primary School 🚲💙

We were delighted to welcome children from Mayflower to a recent Wheels for All session at our Tendring Hub, where they experienced the joy that inclusive cycling can bring.

From big smiles on the track to growing independence and resilience, it was incredible to see how much the session supported not just physical activity, but communication and self-belief too — all in a safe, supportive environment.

A huge thank you to our amazing Wheels for All Tendring team for making this such a positive and empowering experience and for everyone at Mayflower for popping down - we can't wait to welcome you back in 2026 💪✨

A fabulous wintery Christmas card from our friends at Bike Active North Suffolk - BANS as they wrap up (no pun intended!) for Christmas, it has been an honour working with the whole team in 2025 and we can't wait to see what 2026 brings for inclusive cycling in Suffolk! 🚲😍

We're looking forward to our final ride session of 2025 today, what a year it's been!

We've met so many wonderful people, from client & companion riders, to volunteers, funders, sponsors, and supporters.

None of what we have done in 2025 would have been possible without our fantastic volunteers. We'd like to say an extra special thank you to them all, wish them a very merry Christmas and say 'can we do it all again in 2026 please?' 🙏

Meet Keith - one of our fabulous volunteers at Wheels for All Birkenhead Park! 🚲✨

Every Thursday you’ll find Keith supporting participants with patience, humour and incredible dedication. Keith first joined Wheels for All to support his son Chris — and has since become a driving force for making the sessions safer, smoother and more inclusive for everyone!

From helping Chris progress to riding independently, to advocating for better facilities and accessibility at the park, Keith’s impact has been truly transformational for us as a charity and we cannot thank him enough ❤️
