We’re excited to share that Wheels for All will be exhibiting at next week’s Kidz to Adultz North event! 🎉

Join us on Wednesday 3rd December at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, where we’ll be showcasing our inclusive cycling programmes and the difference they make for disabled children, young people, and their families 🚲

Kidz to Adultz North is one of the UK’s largest free events for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs — bringing together families, carers and professionals for a day of support, expert insight and hands-on activities. With over 100 exhibitors, free CPD-certified seminars, and plenty of fun features like soft play, festive surprises and more, it’s set to be a fantastic day.

Some lovely photos to finish our working week! 🥰

Our amazing volunteer team from Wheels for All Warrington recently visited Willow Green college for their careers fair. Whilst they were the there the team were able to chat with students about volunteering opportunities and how rewarding donating your time can be.

As you can see there were big smiles from the students and other attendees alike. A huge thank you to everyone at Willow Green for asking us to come along, hopefully we have inspired a future generation of cyclists! 🚲

The winter weather is very much here but that didn't stop the team from Halfords visiting our Westvale Pedal Away Hub today 🚲

Matt and Steffi were on hand volunteering their time and skills to service a whopping 28 of our two-wheeled bicycles, helping us to make sure they are all in tip-top condition for the colder months ahead ❄️

A huge thank you to the pair for coming out and seeing us, we really do appreciate such amazing support from them and the entire Halfords team! ❤️

Meet Eric from our Kendal Hub! 🚲

Seven years into volunteering with Wheels for All, Eric has become an essential part of keeping the Kendal fleet safe and session-ready. After completing our Tier 2 Maintenance Course, he’s now helping tackle day-to-day repairs, supporting safety checks, and even solving trickier issues with guidance from our National Logistics and Maintenance Manager, Rob 🎉

Thanks to Eric and the Kendal team, fewer cycles are out of service and participants of all ages can keep enjoying the freedom of inclusive cycling. 👏

You may remember that we posted a few weeks ago about Wheels for All attending Manchester Active’s fantastic SEND Activity Day at Belle Vue Leisure Centre over half-term! 🌟🚴‍♀️

Well we have received this wonderful pictures of the event - including our team in action delivering inclusive cycling sessions to attendees! 😁

From cycling to basketball, wheelchair rugby, boccia, taekwondo, arts and crafts and more, there was something for everyone. And with 98 participants getting involved — including 38 with SEND — the day was full of energy, smiles and new connections.

Huge thanks to Manchester Active for creating such an inclusive space for families to discover ongoing opportunities across the city. We’re excited to see these events grow even further in 2026! ❤️

Thanks to our amazing new partners IPSOS we’re thrilled to announce that we have been able to secure funding to start inclusive cycling provisions at two schools: Sandgate School in Kendal, Cumbria, and Brooklands School in Surrey, both supporting young people with special educational needs 😄✨

Work is already underway at Sandgate, and we are excited to say that we have already been able to:

✅ Install secure on-site cycle storage
✅ Deliver a fleet of six specialist adapted cycles, including handcycles and trikes
✅ Train school staff and volunteers to safely lead inclusive cycling sessions

Before launching, we also welcomed Sandgate staff and students to Wheels for All Kendal to experience inclusive cycling first-hand and help shape how sessions will run at their school.

Once sessions are fully up and running at Sandgate, we’ll turn our focus to Brooklands School in the new year to replicate the same approach, meaning that both of these brilliant schools will have permanent access to inclusive cycling! A huge thank you to IPSOS for all of their support in getting these two provisions up and running, we can’t wait to see what 2026 will bring! ❤️

It's been a busy few weeks here at Wheels for All and what better way to end our working week with some lovely smiling faces doing what we do best - cycling! ❤️🚲

The ladies from Pedal Away Stretford took part in last weekend's Lights Up: Disco on Wheels event, which cycled through the streets of Manchester for a third year as part of the campaign for safer streets for women and girls.

The evening was a great success and as you can see there were plenty of bright lights and big smiles! We already can't wait for next years ride! ✨🚲
