We are looking for a motivated and friendly Trainee Dental Nurse to join our welcoming dental team!

This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to start a career in dentistry. Full training and support will be provided while working towards a recognised dental nursing qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting the dentist during treatments
• Preparing and sterilising instruments
• Maintaining a clean and organised surgery
• Supporting patients and providing excellent care
• Administrative duties as required

What We’re Looking For:
• A positive, caring attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Eager to learn and develop
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths & English preferred

🩺 Dental Nurse Duties:
• Chairside assistance during treatments
• Decontamination & cross-infection control
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
• Updating patient records
• Supporting patients throughout their visit

(GDC registered or enrolled on a dental nursing course for trainee role)

Laura has been with us for nearly a year and is much loved by both our team and patients💚

She graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2022 with a degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy and brings a calm, friendly approach to every appointment.

She has since completed additional training in tooth whitening and facial aesthetics, including Botox and dermal fillers. Laura is passionate about creating a calm, welcoming environment and helping patients feel comfortable and confident, with a strong focus on gum health.

Dr Rohan Sood joined us in July and has quickly become a valued member of the Appleton Park Dental team, much loved by both colleagues and patients alike.

Dr Sood practices General and Cosmetic Dentistry and is a UCL Eastman graduate in Restorative Dentistry, with a strong focus on adhesive and minimally invasive dentistry.

🦷 Clinical interests include:
• Clear aligners
• Fixed and removable prosthetics
• Composite bonding
• Tooth wear management

Outside of dentistry, Dr Sood has recently welcomed a new baby girl and loves travelling whenever he gets the chance ✈️
