John had a lovely trip out for lunch today to The Warwick Garden Centre. He enjoyed a walk around looking at all the beautiful plants and gifts and had lots of ideas for the summer planting here at Leycester House

Farewell to Olivia

Today marks a special yet bittersweet moment as we say farewell to Olivia after seven wonderful years at Leycester House. Her dedication, warmth, and professionalism have left a lasting impression on everyone she has worked with.

This evenings family night was a toe tapping success with a Dolly and her friends Country and Western theme! Residents got right into the spirit, donning cowboy hats and joining in with the livey
songs of classic country tunes.
The atmosphere was full of laughter, music, and plenty of western charm. To top it off, everyone enjoyed a delicious southern- style meal featuring southern fried chicken, crispy potato wedges, and creamy coleslaw.

Easter Raffle success at Leycester House 🐰
Our Easter Raffle was a fantastic success! This year, we proudly supported Re-engage, a wonderful charity dedicated to tackling senior loneliness in the community.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who took part, Leycester House raised an incredible £417.00. Today our Events Manager, Rachel Devey, had the pleasure of handing over the donation to Helen Sykes from Re-engage.
A heartfelt thank you to all residents, families, and team members who contributed - your kindness will help make a difference in the lives of older people in our community. ❤️

World Health Day at Leycester House
Today, we celebrated World Health Day by recognising the importance of staying hydrated - a simple yet vital part of maintaining good health and well-being.
To mark this occasion, we set up hydration stations for our staff and residents to enjoy. Everyone was treated to a refreshing selection of sparkling water, elderflower presse, orange juice, and fresh fruit. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together, raise awareness about healthy habits, and remind ourselves that small choices - like drinking enough water - make a big difference every day. 🍉🍓🍍🫐💦

We had a very Eggciting morning at Leycester House, with our children's Easter party and egg hunt.
We had creative Easter themed activities.
A fun filled Easter egg hunt to find the hidden treats and a delicious finger buffet, with a selection of sandwiches, Easter cakes, and traditional hot cross buns. It was a wonderful morning for everyone to enjoy.🐣🐰🥚

Freshly Baked Hot Cross Buns for Good Friday ❤️
Our in house chefs have been busy in the kitchen, filling the air with the warm aroma of freshly baked hot cross buns. Each batch was made with care, featuring soft, spiced dough and the classic cross on top - a delicious tradition to mark Good Friday.
