That way they can get to know you, how you like things and your routines. Building trust, relationships, and not having to explain the where the teaspoons are every time some one comes.

From there we can grow and adapt exactly how you need us to.

The shift has been gradual, but you realise that at some point you've started doing those little things your parents used to do for you.

Have they eaten? Have the bills been paid? Has the washing been done?

You don't class it as caring, after all, they're your parents and you want to make sure they're okay. But those little things can soon mount up and can often get to breaking point before you even think of putting formal support in place.

We like to think of ourselves as that helping hand, who can look after all of those little things so that you can focus on what's important... spending time with your parents. 💙

This week we're super excited to be launching some community outreach activity using our lovely treat boxes as a way of introducing ourselves to some key medical professionals in our local area.

Using locally sourced treats from Henley Chocolates, we want to get to know our neighbours better. Care is such a local choice, built on reputation and word of mouth.

We look forward to meeting more people, and helping the local area discover the right care choices for them.

Recently we were super lucky to have a guided tour of Studley Rose Care Home with the lovely, Carla.
Studley Rose truly sets the gold standard of care homes, with beautiful facilities and no detail missed. They are sit side-by-side Visiting Angels in terms of the quality we expect for our clients.
We very much look forward to working closely with this local business in future 💙

We want to tell you a story ⭐

It's about our lovely client Mr C. When we started caring for him over two years ago, he was full of life and stories about his home country. Unfortunately, as his Alzheimer's has progressed he wants to talk less and less.

But that doesn't stop his Caregiver from finding ways to lift his spirits and engage with him. Recently, she took him on a walking tour of where he used to live... all via YouTube, of course!

The result? She bought a smile to his face and got him chatting again.
