Sunshine & Sea Vitamins: A Sunday to Remember!

Sunday truly delivered. After storm Melissa nudged us from Little Haven to the Yacht Club, the day unfolded beautifully with calm skies, golden light, and positive energy.

The sun rose in full glory, the waves set the tone, and everyone soaked up the goodness of yoga, meditation, saunas, and invigorating sea dips. Pure bliss!

Huge thanks to Gary and Martin for wrapping up the year with another unforgettable Vitamin Sea Retreat. It’s been a joy collaborating with you both. Spring can’t come soon enough!

And a special shout out to Darren from the Roker Bathers Club for capturing the magic, those wave-play shots are just brilliant!

It was a Sunday full of smiles, saltwater, and soul-soothing moments.

First meeting held today. Massive Thanks to Kev Shaw for hosting us at the Yacht Club. Thanks to Keith from SETA for his input on funded training available to businesses. I’m looking forward to first aid, health and safety and WELDING!!!!!!

Thanks to those who were able to attend, your enthusiasm and ideas made it worthwhile.

To give those who couldn’t make it an idea of what we did, here’s a brief summary of outcomes from the first meeting:

- Free parking secured at the yacht club compound for the next meeting.
- Shane is going to help us all out and professionalise the promotion of the group.
- Funded training opportunities from SETA. These range from practical engineering courses to IOSH, Risk Assessments and H&S.
- Initial plans to create a personal business newsletter and a networking group newsletter.
- Mutually beneficial advertising opportunities discussed.
- Friendships started and new ideas and collaborations discussed.
- Use a registering system (possibly eventbrite) for the next meeting.
- Nima (from Namaste) is going to provide her cooked Indian breakfasts at the next meeting. £7 per person with hot drinks.
