We have been busy creating beautiful Christmas cards, complete with glitter, stickers, bows, and their own personal touches. Each one turned into a little festive masterpiece!❤️🎅🎁✨

🌟 We’ve recently welcomed a new face to Wellington Vale... Say hello to Mog! 🌟

Mog is an incredibly talented musician with a beautiful voice, and she wowed us all during her visit! 🎶
She plays a wonderful range of instruments including the ukulele, recorder, steel tongue drum, and more.

Her performance had the whole room singing along to well-known classics, creating such a warm and joyful atmosphere. 💛

We’re already looking forward to her next visit.

Tickled Pink Productions came and transformed the lounge near us into a magical theatre! 🎭✨ What a fantastic Christmas spectacular it was, from sparkling fairies to stunning ball gowns, they truly had it all. And of course, all the classic Christmas songs we couldn’t help but sing along to (and tap our feet with!) 🎄🎶

A wonderful start to the festive season! 💫

🌟 A Big Thank You to Ross! 🌟

Ross, our wonderful sports coach, has been visiting our residents for many years now, delivering stretching sessions and seated exercises that everyone truly enjoys. He not only keeps us moving, but also teaches us all about the different muscles in our bodies and the exercises that help keep us healthy.

And of course, he always reminds us of the important rules of life:
💧 Drink plenty of water
😴 Get plenty of sleep
🥗 Maintain a balanced diet
😊 And most importantly… smile!

Thank you, Ross, for your dedication and positivity, we appreciate you more than you know! 💙

🎄 CALLING WELLINGTON VALE FRIENDS & NEIGHBOURS! 🎄

We’re creating a Drive-By Christmas Wonderland this year, and we’d love your help to make it extra magical for our community! ✨

If you have any outdoor Christmas decorations or lights that you no longer need or would be happy to donate, we would be incredibly grateful.

Everything will be put to good use to bring some festive joy to families driving past this Christmas season.

🎅✨ Donations we’re looking for:

🌟Outdoor lights (any colour or style)
🎅🏻Reindeers, Santas, snowmen, inflatables
🧑‍🎄Candy canes, signs, ornaments
🎄Any other outdoor festive décor

If you’re able to contribute, please comment below or drop them off to our reception. We can also arrange pickup.

🎉🎉 What an amazing day at Wellington Vale Care Home as we celebrated 9 wonderful years! 🥳💐

We were thrilled to have friends, neighbours, and residents join us for an afternoon full of laughter, entertainment, and delicious homemade cakes made by our talented chefs. 🍰🎶 It was such a heartwarming celebration, and we’re so grateful for the support and love we’ve received over the years.

A huge thank you to every single team member across all departments – your dedication and hard work are what truly make Wellington Vale feel like a home for our residents. From the management and care team to the kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, activities, and admin staff – each one of you plays such a vital role in making every day special for our residents. 💙

Here’s to many more years of making memories together! 🥂💕
