❄️ Hitting the Cold Spots offers one-to-one advice over the phone to help you keep your home at a comfortable temperature all year round, as well as ensuring your household energy use is as efficient as possible. It also helps you understand and manage your energy bills, sign up for priority services, manage damp and mould problems and more.

Hitting the Cold Spots operates on a case-by-case basis; recognising that each household has a different set of circumstances. Some clients, for example those on a low income and living with health conditions, could be eligible for a home visit and even funding to replace heating and hot water systems.

💚 Our patients and staff have been busy all year creating wonderful handmade gifts and decorations, which we will be selling to raise funds for the Rowans Hospice.

All are welcome to attend.

Patients aged 75 to 79 are eligible for the RSV vaccination.

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a major respiratory virus that is most common over the winter period, typically October to February. Whilst most cases are not serious, the vaccine helps to protect those who are most vulnerable.

🧶Our patients and staff have been knitting, crocheting and crafting all year to create beautiful handmade gifts which we will be selling to raise funds for the Rowans Hospice.

The fair is 12:00-14:00. Please be aware we can only accept cash. All patients and members of the local community are welcome to attend.

People with certain long-term health conditions face serious complications from flu, including hospitalisation or death.

But a flu vaccine gives you the best protection - like protective armour.

If you have a chronic heart condition, a respiratory condition such as COPD or severe asthma, kidney disease, diabetes, liver disease, a neurological condition (such as cerebral palsy, MS, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease or have had a stroke) or are immunosuppressed you are at greater risk and are eligible for the flu vaccination on the NHS.

So, before winter sets in, when flu spreads more easily, check your eligibility and book online at nhs.uk/book-flu

📢 VMG Patients - Please be aware that we will have a reduced service on the afternoon of Tuesday 25th November 2025.
