Life is all about Supporting our own selves and others. Today, I felt honoured to be invited to the book launch of Pratiqk Jaani titled Dhrasti, The Perception at The Bloomsbury Hotel in Central London. Pratiqk's book goes beyond an ordinary 'health and wellbeing self help book' and digs deeper into the understanding the Power of personal development change from our challenging Perspectives, often originating from a place of fear to Empowerment in our Present lives. I left feeling motivated and Thank you for inviting me. Coincidentally, Pratiqk's office used to be at Watford Business Park in Regus. Recently, I started createvely working on clothing material, a donation from Warner Bros. Studios through The W3RT CVS . We are now in the middle of this Beautiful project, working with our own hands, cutting the material, and making pillows, which we shall donate to the community of Mill End. Today is Mother's Day, a day that I personally found it challenging, having lost my Mum at a very young age. One of the Ethical Guidance of Counselling is to have minimal self disclosures in order to provide a Safe Space for the Client to process their feelings and be heard. I therefore follow this Guidance to the best of my ability even in my personal life. However, today feels different and I feel Proud to talk openly about my Mum, who despite being in my life for only 8 years, I learnt a lot from her in such a short period of time. My Mum was a Midwife and in Africa, that role means Everything. I remember her baking and inviting Women in our village for tea on International Women's Day. However, on Mother's Day was just for us Girls together with my Sister. I therefore spent Mother's Day alone nowadays, as I feel nothing can replace those Beautiful Memories. My Mum taught me Singing, Baking, Cooking, Sewing and Gardening. But above all she taught me to be Kind not only to the people I knew but everyone I met. She used to say "Kindness is Priceless "! I have come to realise I do a lot in her Honour. However, my Boys today surprised me. They asked me to wear pink and turned my counselling office into a High Society Tea. They showered me with Beautiful Mother's Day presents. I feel Blessed to have Marcus and Marvin and ofcourse my Husband Mark in my life. Thank you for all your Mother's Day Wishes. To those who like me find today hard due to the loss of our Mums, I send you Kindness and Love.

With our Bright Smiles, we continued to promote Health and Wellbeing at The Beaming Bar, sharing Happiness to everyone through various topics of interactions including mental health and bereavement. Today, I was Honoured to be invited again to The Houses of Parliament in Westminster in my role as a Psychotherapist and Life Coach, as well as The Company Director of Imatter Counselling Therapy Networks and Imatter Health and Wellbeing Support CIC. This Important and Interactive meeting was about raising the awareness on the Rising Harms of yet another emerging drugs among young people. As a Psychotherapist and Life Coach, I have been working with mental health and addictions issues for the past 6 years. Chaired by Lord Taylor of Holbeach, CBE, Professor Ornella Corranza, The Chair of All Party Parliamentary Group on Emerging Drugs and Online Behavioural Trends (APPG) and also a Professor at The University of Hertfordshire, as well as The APPG Officer and MP, Darren Paffey, this event continues to call upon policy and law makers to continue Working together in tackling the rising harms of drugs, especially in young people. This is also allowing me to continue developing my knowledge and providing Health and Wellbeing Support Services not only to the people of Watford and Surrounding Areas but also to various communities all over the world¹. Therefore at Imatter, we are here to walk with you on your Life Journey wherever you are. The meeting ended on a positive note, lobbying for policy makers to collaborate with tougher policies, prison sentences and awareness on this issue.
