Community Care Assistants required to provide care and support for people in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently recruiting in North Hertfordshire, including Letchworth, Hitchin, Royston and surrounding areas.

You must be a driver with access to own car as you will be visiting people in their own homes.

Shifts are 7 days a week from:

7.00am - 14.00pm
16.00pm - 22.00pm

We have Full Time, Part Time, Weekend Only work, and can offer flexible hours to fit your lifestyle. We also offer Temporary and Permanent positions.

Community Carers required to provide care and support for people in their own homes, including assisting with personal care as well as basic household duties.

You will be visiting clients in their own homes, and must hold a valid UK driving licence with access to own car.

Shifts are: 7am to 2pm, and 4pm to 10pm. Long shifts are also available, but ideally you will be able to work 2 evenings per week and 2 weekends per month.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Providing support to older people as outlined in their care plans to include personal care and adhering to risk assessments.
• Carrying out moving and assisting techniques specific to the client’s needs.
• Supporting people to express their choices, promoting their individuality and independence about their care decisions.
• Providing emotional support.

About you:

• Caring, responsible, empathetic, understanding, proactive and great sense of humour.
• A passion for delivering high quality care to vulnerable adults with a variety of needs.
• Able to work flexibly, independently and as part of a team to meet the needs of the people we support.
• Comfortable in assisting individuals with their personal care where this is required.
• Experience as a care worker would be an advantage but not essential as training provided, but training will be given so we actively encourage applications from candidates with no previous experience.
