You and the whole team did such a fantastic job today. Thank you all so very much.

Funeral services are so different to all other services - there is an expectation for everything to be perfect and anything that falls short is a catastrophe! However, J&S get it beyond perfect. All the little details make such a difference, from the communication before and on the day, to the immaculate dress of all staff, the stunning hearse and limo, and how you all strike a balance between professionalism and warmth.

I've run out of parents to do funerals for now, but I will recommend you to everyone.

Incredible job, for which I am immensely grateful.

They're dead... now what?

The Churches Together Abbots Langley Bereavement Visitors Group has put together a panel event where any questions you have relating to the practicalities following a death will be answered. The panel will include experts who deal with all aspects of death on a regular basis.

Date: Tuesday 6th May
Time: 7.30pm
Where: Elvira's, Henderson Hub

Bring your friends and family and come with any questions for the panel. To reserve your place, please email bereavement.ctal@yahoo.com. You can also submit your questions in advance - either named or anonymously using this email address.

Refreshments will be served and all are warmly welcome.

Stephen & Lynette recently conducted a double funeral for a couple that had spent almost 50 years of their life together .
A farewell for a couple that had navigated life side by side for so many years and even more fitting that the service took place on Valentines Day ❤️

Our office hours during the Christmas period are as follows
Christmas Eve 9am until 12noon
Christmas Day - closed
Boxing Day- closed
Friday 27th December - closed
Monday 30th December - 9am - 3pm
Tuesday 31st December -9am - 2pm
New Years Day - closed
Our normal office hours of 9am -4.30pm will resume from the 2nd January 2025
Our 24/7 on call service will be operating as normal all over the Christmas break.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a peaceful Christmas and New year and also thank you for your continued support.

The annual Watford & District Bowls presentation evening was held at Berkhamsted Golf Club on Saturday evening with J&S Funeral Service sponsoring both the Ray Cup and the Griffin Cup . John and Steve presented the winners with prize money and bowls bags.
A big thank you to Phil Bunting for organising the evening.

Mother’s Day is a wonderful celebration of mum’s or people that have taken on the role of mum . It can also be a difficult day for some for many reasons .
Thinking of everyone who has lost their mum, lost their child or yearn to hold their baby in their arms ❤️
