Our Managing Director, Adam K Ginder will be heading to China later this week to trek along the Great Wall of China in aid of Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care. Walking for 5 days, climbing over 3500 metres, Adam is hoping to raise as much as he can in support of the fantastic work the Hospice provides to the local community. To help the charity raise as much as possible, Adam will be covering all of his own travel costs for the trip.
If you are able to support him and the hospice by sponsoring or contributing to his fundraising page it will give him the extra motivation he'll need to reach the end.

Today is Funeral Director Appreciation Day and we want to say thank you to all of our team for their hard work throughout the year in the support and care of families.
As the service we provide constantly develops, we look to AI for potential ways we can better serve our clients.
AI has many different benefits and one is generating infographics and visual information. On this occasion we have used AI to create this image.
As part of Funeral Director Appreciation Day we want to thank all those involved in caring for the deceased and their families.

Today we remember our founder, Martyn Ginder who would have celebrated his 69th Birthday today.
Martyn started M. K. Ginder Funeral Directors back in 1983, which went on to become M. K. Ginder & Sons Funeral Directors as his family grew.
Martyn sadly and suddenly passed away 15 years ago. The next generation "the & Sons" are the current custodians of the business and continue to deliver the same high levels of service their father set out.
As a family business we are always delighted to hear stories from families of how Martyn looked after them many years ago, and how they will never forget the care and kindness he provided.

The Local, Independent, Family-Run Funeral Directors
Established in 1983, M. K. Ginder and Sons are the only privately owned and family run firm of funeral directors in the Watford area. Over the years our commitment to the local community has built our reputation for personal service and attention to detail with regards to the care of the deceased.
For the convenience of the families we serve, our funeral arranging offices are situated in North Watford, Bricket Wood, Bushey, West Watford, South Oxhey and Abbots Langley.
We pride ourselves on the personal service we are able to give and in our ability to arrange funerals to suit every requirement and budget. Whether your wish is for a traditional funeral from a bygone era with glass hearse and plumed horses or a more modern and âof the momentâ funeral with an ecological coffin and woodland burial, we have the knowledge and experience to arrange any funeral ceremony.
As a local independent company, we try to be involved with the communities we serve and the charities we are able to support. We are delighted to be Business Partners with Peace Hospice Care, and to help numerous other charities both locally and nationally.
As a business we understand the importance to support other local business. Through our memberships of BNI and the Watford FC Business Partnership we are able to do that.
We are also able to assist people with pre-need funeral care by offering Pre-Paid Funeral Plans in connection with Golden Charter, and aftercare services through our monumental masons, Ginder Memorials.
