Turns out other people are up for it too!!!

So I'm launching at as a challenge!

RUN, JOG, WALK min 1k a day until Christmas day....who's joining us??

I'm going to set up a group on Strava and tag posts on social media to keep each other motivated

For me, not for fitness, not for weight loss but for a mental health boost!

Last night I was shattered but I got out with the dog for 1.5k run and felt loads better for it.

Following on from seeing a 'How much weight can you lose before Christmas' post I thought I'd start posting some simple things you can do in the run up to Christmas to maintain a bit of balance - not completely fall off the wagon and leave yourself a huge mountain to climb in January while also enjoying a drink, a second helping of Christmas dinner and a Bailey's trifle for breakfast.

(All from the girl who once had to go to bed in pain because she ate three full plates of Christmas dinner)

I'm not against weight loss now if that's your goal but I think that promoting severe restriction in order to feel 'happier' at Christmas isn't promoting healthy lifestyle or sustainable habits.

So over the next month I'll be posting some tips and giving away some free resources to anyone who wants to ask me for them on how to not only survive Christmas but smash it!

I am passionate about this!

I want people to be as healthy as possible for as long as possible.

You don't have to suffer

You don't have to be on medication

Exercise is medicine

It doesn't have to be grueling

It doesn't have to take over your life

But the right programming can improve long-term health conditions

Especially when paired with the right nutrition.

You will have to commit to change some habits

But don't you think it's worth it?

Who wants to increase their frequency of trips to the doctor as they get older? Not me.

Replace that with a few walks in the fresh air, a few outdoor swim sessions, completing a 5k you never thought possible or doing your first back squat at 60 years old

Doesn't that sound more appealing?

We all have the power to change our future.
