Orriss and Low Optometrists Orriss & Low Optometrists, based in Winscombe, providing friendly and professional eyecare since 1986 Gary and Ruth deservedly decided to retire in 2022.

Founded in 1986 by husband and wife Optometrists, Gary Orriss and Ruth Low first opened their practice in Winscombe in 1986. Their aim was to serve the optical needs of local people, as well as provide a range of specialist services that would attract others from further afield. At the start of 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic the practice was transferred to the Patel family who have another independent practice, Radlett Opticians based in Hertfordshire. We are excited to see what the future brings, over the past 3 decades we have invested in the most sophisticated and technologically advanced equipment for early diagnosis of Retinal and general health abnormalities.
