The young people had a wonderful time on Tuesday at Hemsley conversation centre , funded by the Jack Petchey association .
The young people enjoyed seeing a wide range of animals as well as hearing a talk about the Spider monkeys and how a talk on conservation and the laws around using animal products in fashion.
We are so proud of the young people who were amazing ambassadors for ADO River Valley. 🐒🦍🌳

We were pleased to welcome MP Louie French into school to talk with some of our young people about his role as MP.
They learned about the responsibilities and what a day in the life of an MP looks like.

The young people then had lots of questions for Louie such as how he got into politics and about current political issues. Louie was then provided a tour of the site by the young people and meet some of our animals. 🐎🐷🐐🐢

OPEN DAY TOURS for ADO River Valley Independent Special School.
Come and see the amazing opportunities we have for outdoor career pathways. We are open on the morning of 27th of May, with slots either 9:30am-10:30am or 11am-12pm. for families of prospective new students with an EHCP to come visit and have an informal tour of our site and ask any questions on subject study interest.
Please register your interest by emailing education@adorivervalley.co.uk stating which tour you would like to be on and what subject study your young person is interested in.
