As December arrives, communities are lighting up streets, preparing holiday gatherings, and embracing the familiar warmth of the festive season. From local markets to neighbourhood events, the month is filled with celebration and the anticipation of a new year.

But alongside the joy, many also feel the absence of loved ones who are no longer here. The holiday season often brings memories to the forefront, making this a time of both togetherness and quiet reflection. As the festive days unfold, December continues to shine as a season of light, kindness, and remembrance.

Community groups and support services are encouraging people to reach out, connect, and take care of one another, reminding everyone that it’s okay to celebrate while still holding space for those we miss.

Join us at Rushden Lakes on Friday 10th, October 2025, to raise funds for Cransley.
Hospice Care Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the importance of Hospice Care nationwide. The best way to do this is by getting involved with your local hospice fundraising! Together with your support, Cransley aims to raise an incredible £15,000 during their GO GREEN week from 6th to 12th October, to fund a better end-of-life experience for people with a life-limiting illness in our community…because every moment matters.
