February is Work Safely Month, a Lighthouse Charity campaign designed to highlight safety both on and off site.

It's really important to remember that safety doesn’t begin when you arrive on site; it begins long before then. Aspects such as sleep, stress and general wellbeing impact your overall behaviour and it's so important that your everyday wellbeing is cared for.

Work Safely Month also focuses on the practical steps everyone can take once they are on site. These small actions help teams stay alert, prepared and protected.

Today is the day! The updated NEBOSH General Certificate training starts 2 February 2026! 🎉

We’re excited to welcome our learners onto the newly revised NEBOSH National & International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety courses, aligned with NEBOSH’s latest syllabus updates.

Here’s what’s new:

👉 Teaching on the revised syllabus starts today — meaning you’re getting the most up-to-date content designed for modern workplace safety.
👉 The qualification remains structured around two units — a 24-hour scenario-based assessment (GNC1/GIC1) and a practical risk assessment (GNC2/GIC2).
👉 Unit 2 now uses a points-based marking system with transparent feedback and a pass mark of 60 %.
👉 Both unit results will be issued together after assessments.

First assessments under the new syllabus begin from 4 March 2026, so there’s still time to get fully prepared.

Ready to start or have questions? Drop us a message or book your place today!
