The HSE are looking at new measures to tighten up safety on “bouncy castles” and inflatables as the couple convicted of safety failings leading to the death of seven year old Summer Grant were sentenced to three years in jail.

Under The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974

All Inflatables need to be tested to EN14960 anually. By a compertant Person.

TOMORROW Morning, 19th April In Crawley.

It's being held at the Holiday Inn Gatwick Worth, RH10 4SS Near to Gatwick Airport the cost of the course is £115 and includes refreshments / lunch and the exam.

Upon passing you will be registered as an official RPII Certified operator and its valid for 3 years.

You will also receive a ID badge and certificate.
And also be able to use the new RPII Certified Operator & Attendant Logo on your websites!

STOLEN BOUNCY CASTLE!!!!

Hi. Today a delivery there was a disco bouncy castle, soft play and a snakes and ladders game to St John's Hall in Romfords.

Unfortunately the whole set was stolen straight after the set up.

Due to the amount of people asking for a copy of the Wind Speed Recording Sheet:

I have decided to release the one we use and also give to customers who purchase inflatables from us.
This sheet consists of two pages, one is the main sheet and the other page is a continuation sheet if needed.

To use this when you setup at an event or private function.
you will just need to put the Date, Time, who setup or checked the equipment. The list the equipment.

You will see there is then a table where you can or you get your customer to write the Time / Wind Speed any comments and then initial it.

You can choose how often you want to record it but for our events we do it either every 20 mins or when the wind is picking up.

You are free to use this / copy / redistribute etc. But not to modify.

Should an accident or issue arise this document will be able to be used in a court of law to either prove or disprove your procedure's etc.

It is our company policy if the wind speed is 22Mph or more to stop using and deflate inflatables.
