Happy Christmas from all of us at Ruxstons! đ
Weâve had a brilliant year and enjoyed every bit of it. Quite simply, we couldnât have built what weâve built in 2025 without the incredible support of our customers, many of whom have become good friends along the way. From our cafĂŠ regulars, to those ordering online from further afield, and everyone in between, thank you for backing the Ruxstons project. It genuinely means a lot to us to see you enjoying the area and the products we sell.
As ever, Fraser and I remain as passionate as ever about Ruxstons. Our aim hasnât changed: to put quality, authenticity and discovery at the heart of everything we do. This year weâve grown from two team members in January to six today, and weâre hugely thankful to every one of them, past and present. Everything added in 2025 has been a true team effort.
Together, the team has developed the cafĂŠ (we literally only had a few coffees on the menu in January), built a chocolate factory, launched our own ice cream brand, and partnered with chef (and former colleague) Lubo Rotak as we begin building the Ruxstons Chocolate Academy. Weâre really determined that Wellington can proudly add the South Westâs best chocolate factory to its list of great things. It wonât be easy, but weâll work hard to make it happen.
And the future? Donât worry, weâre not short of ideas. Our organic pasta project is nearing completion, and we have no shortage of plans and ideas which will be arriving next year!
